Big butts, little butts, or the average arse?
Which do you prefer?
I like 'em a bit larger than average. But not too big.

I don’t have an opinion on women, but on men, no.
I would like a little more butt on myself though.
I like big breasts and the wide hips that go with the non-surgically enhanced ones.

I actually like smallish butts on women but still have big butt features - roundness, 3D effect on profile, good proportion out from waist, etc. Calipygian assets.
The worst is a thin woman with no discernable waist and pancake flat butt.
I like em big (but not too big).
The key for me, though is: independent hemispherical movement.
Any size, as long as you have that.

This thread makes me wonder where the stereotypical flat-bottomed beauties come from. If this large a percentage of the population prefers a bigger behind, then why is it generally believed in the minds of women that less is more?
Well, I suppose it the difference between the perception of fat bum and a lovely curveacious bum, for obvious reasons. And for many women, myself included i suppose, one is desirable and the other one is unacceptable, however, there is often a fine line.
Marketing, lady f, marketing. Gotta sell those health club memberships somehow … Plus, the fashion geniuses like the power rush of deciding what women’s bodies ought to look like.
I’m a big fan of proportionality, myself. There’s a young lady at my place of employment with a very trim waist, flat butt, and enormous breasts. It looks very strange to me … (Of course, now I’m starting my egg timer: how long until the first post asking for her name, address, and phone number? )
A behind that cannot be covered with the hand is preferable.

Well a wide butt that’s flat, isn’t really big, it’s just wide. A well proportioned butt that protrudes is ideal, like the Venus sisters, Jennifer Lopez, most of the gals on the Cuban volley ball team…
Small but still round. I prefer a smaller woman.

I think it has something to do with the fact that the fashion industry is dominated by gay men. They’re not promoting female body types that are sexually attractive.
I’m a straight woman, but I think men who like flat butts and narrow hips are insane. I’m biased though. My mom and grandma would look at my butt like it was disgraceful and I should hide it. I think the trend is to be more accepting of big butts.
Damn, that just about nails it right there. I’ll toss in proportional, curvaceous, and “firm, yet soft”, and we’ve got ourselves a nice package deal.
Not that I’m looking for one, mind you. I’ve got all a man can wish for in this regard, with the possible exception that the buns at hand are some 11,000 clicks away right now…
I think, even just physically, a woman is more than the sum of her parts. I’ve found many different kinds of butts attractive…each one worked well for the individual woman in question.
