Mild hijack, but I wish to thank the OP for alerting me to the fact that there are other Clevelands. Seriously, I never realized there was more than just the one. But I checked the atlas and doggone! There’s actually quite a few. I can see how it might put a crimp in one’s holiday plans if one were to somehow wind up in Cleveland, WI by mistake. It’s something I would have never thought to check before. Thanks, and have a safe and merry Rust Belt Christmas.

Why would this be a bad idea? Sure, you have to wear a parka and boots, but the beach is lovely in the winter. The lake won’t be frozen while you are here, so you won’t get that spectacle, but it’s still nice…and quiet.
