I need your help - online Survivor challenge!

I’m a geek. I know this. You can taunt me about it all you like, as long as you help me out. I’m in an online “Survivor” themed game, and am in the final 3. The final 3 “endurance” challenge is for me to get as many people as I can to “support” me by sending an email message to [Address removed - Skip] with the subject “Survivor seanp” without the quotes. In the message, you are supposed to say “I am seanp’s friend”. Any other subjects or messages will get auto-deleted.

I’m begging for help. Please, please help me out with this. Ask your coworkers to help you with this. Post it on your myspace, on your blog, ask your friends and family to help me out. Think of it like American Idle, except without the TV exposure and recording contract attached to it.

I’m sure you’re all asking what I win if I win the whole shebang right? Nothing. Nada. A virtual title, and that’s it. Yes, it’s sad that I devote this much time to something with no actual value.

The moderator of the game says this, as well : “Now, your friends and family should know that I AM NOT A SPAMMER. I will not use their email in any way at all, other than to tally your final score. I will not collect or release their email. I will take precautions to not show the emails to anyone. They should know that I hate spam with a passion. In fact, shortly after this challenge, I will delete the email box and all its contents. And that is why I set up the spam filters on these mailboxes to begin with.”

I realize this is borderline spam of the message board, but I’m getting no money or compensation from this…

Nah, you’re selling yourself short. This is spam, not just borderline.

Please take a gander at two things:

[ul][li]The sticky at the top of MPSIMS warning against e-mail campaigns;[/li][li] The Registration Agreement, which has this to say:[/ul][/li]

Now, go forth and sin no more!
