I now own an IPhone 6s. A 6s Plus, to be exact. With 128 Gig. Bow down before me.

Well I upgraded my old iPhone to the newest firmware and it slowed to a halt, guess that means I better buy a new one!

I love my iPad mini, but it’s a little long in the tooth. It’s the first version, so aside from missing the lovely Retina screen, it has limited RAM meaning apps are always swapping out to storage, and in particular Safari is always re-loading pages when switching tabs. It’s time to replace it, but not out of any “need”; simply for want of a better experience.

My iPhone 5s is awesome, too. It has enough RAM that I don’t have the issues described above for the iPad, and as my phone, it’s always with me. Aside from the cracked screen Apple China refuses to repair (they won’t touch foreign phones in store, but I could send it in), it’s still be best iPhone I’ve ever owned, and I’ll have the screen replaced next week in Michigan.

I’m tempted to try replacing both of these with a 6s Plus. It would be really, really nice to eliminate another device. I have misgivings about the Plus’ size, though. I won’t fit in my shirt pocket, and I don’t want to stuff it in my pants, and I don’t want to look like an idiot holding it up to my head for a phone call (and yes, all of you Plus and giant phone users look foolish while talking). And so far Wired has refused to release an iPhone version of their magazine application.

I’m crossing my fingers hoping they’ll all be sold out when I’m home next week, and then I won’t have to make a decision!

I’ve got one if your interested. 64gig model not jail broken on ATT

I had a 128 gig 5, and was hoping to hold out until the 6s Plus was released, but the 5 stopped syncing to iTunes in June, and hit its death spiral in early August… I needed a phone ASAP, bought a 128 gig 6 plus, and the 5 literally bricked a few minutes after the AT&T rep transferred my contacts over.

I’ll still probably get the 5 repaired; a lot of photos and data that never got backed up, and to keep as a backup phone.

I’ve got a full-size iPad and on old school phone, and I’m tempted by the new bigger phones. I could reduce devices (handy on a motorcycle) and upgrade at the same time (I’m still on iOS7). Looking silly while talking is a non-issue - everyone in my family texts everything and are quite put out if you try to actually talk to them on their phones :dubious:. My worries are watching video and reading on something so small, compared to tablets. I’d definitely want to add some sort of streaming to my tv or an lcd for watching stuff at home.
