I’m in my mid 50s. Just last week for the very first time I ate waffles slathered in peanut butter. All those little melty pools of peanut butter. Hmmmm …
How could I have spent so many years not eating peanut butter waffles?! When I think of all the time I wasted on other stuff like education and sleeping, it makes me sad.
Not wasted at all, you want life to surprise you with new delights right up to the end, things I’ve loved for many years are not the same as they once were. I’m in my 50’s, and what I wouldn’t give to experience Brandenburg 3, or The Mask of the Red Death for the first time again.
Oh YUM! Peanut butter waffles are good. So are peanut butter pancakes. When we were kids we would mix a bit of corn syrup with the peanut butter and put it on pancakes and waffles. Peanut butter toast is also extremely yummy - butter the toast and then quickly put peanut butter on so it melts in with the butter.
You’re not starting out very well on these boards…if you get too many notes, they could turn into a warning, and too many warnings could turn into a ban.
It’s against the rules here to insult others, so try to shy away from using terms that might be a subtle insult,
I had the bright idea of waffles covered with peanut butter and maple syrup in college when I was stoned. I found that the munchies do have limits. Yuck.
