Was he? Conservative, I mean. I don’t really remember him as such. Just more being “off.”
@Velocity: I was unaware he claimed to be in his 80s, nor that he’d talked about travelling during the pandemic (and not just talked about traveling he’d done previously). I still stand by what I said above about the blindness issue not really being a reason to go after him, but those additional things do make me understand more why people were suspicious.
He claimed to not be. Sure, he didn’t like Black/White interracial couples, thoughts gays were bad, sexual harassment against women wasn’t a big deal, and anything “politically correct” was destroying society, but he always claimed to not be a conservative.
I don’t recall him saying this, unless I missed it. He married a filipina woman and moved to the Philippines some years back.
Since the guest of honor is no longer with us, it’s time to close down this party.
