I gotta say…I totally raised my eyebrow at the fact that she was posting that often, that quickly, and that flawlessly. As many other have noted, it’s not possible for a tongue-mouse or eyeball selection software, or even dictation to be that frickin’ perfect, let alone that fast.
He/She/It was probably getting it’s jollies off so fast from all the furious responses that they were sitting in a puddle of their own ejaculatory fluid quivering in delight and hallucinating that they actually WERE paralyzed.
“Fake Internet Quadriplegics”? Hmmm…this gives me a fantastic idea for a sequel to Quadrophenia! I need to send a note off to Pete’s personal assistant!
Lately I find myself thinking of Tania Head, who took internet fakery to new levels. She crashed some WTC survivor groups with what had to be the most dramatic survivor story ever…she claimed she had a fiancee or husband ( her story was inconsistent ) that was killed in one tower and she claimed a narrow escape from the other tower that resulted in a serious injury ( she had the scars but it turned out they weren’t WTC related).
Then she stayed with it when the groups went face to face and managed to take on a leadership role…and if someone started to get suspicious she would sense it anf get them ostracized from the group, often claiming she thought they were faking. She also used her compelling story to belittle the less dramatic experiences of the real survivors and was often psychologically abusive to the other members.
She pullled this act off for years before getting caught and was even a docent at the WTC visitor center…if anyone asked too many questions she would cite privacy concerns and enlisted the other group members to help protect her “privacy”.
The whole thing blew apart when the New York Times tried to do a profile piece on her and were stymied by the lack of hard information…then they found she never worked for the company she claimed to work for…and that the family and friends of the man she claimed was her fiance/husband had never heard of her.
The real survivors were infuriated but had no cause for legal action, she also pretended to be well off and never solicited money.
However the other survivors made a documentary and wrote a book about her deceptions called “The Woman who Wasn’t There”.
So who knows what compels these attention whores to act the way they do.
For a while I was wondering if UmKay was really handicapped though…maybe an old ugly woman in a wheelchair pretending to be a young, rich and sexy woman in wheelchair, sort of wishful thinking.
Sorry for bumping this thread a month late, but I just followed up on this entire internet drama. These 3 links were enlightening, thank you! Makes me want to get a degree in Psychology!
