Hassenpfeffer isn’t my last name anymore than Bambi is my first. It’s not even the right gender. I am ethnically German, but my IRL last name doesn’t reflect that.
I kind of guessed that. But it’s a really cool username. Reminds me of “Laverne and Shirley” whenever I see it. And I owe you a gold star sticker for getting the Schicklgruber reference right.
I would have felt differently if I didn’t make an unfortunate visit to their internet hometown. I can’t imagine that it is a board where someone with Millen’s stated views would post. It would be like finding that someone who claims to have vague sympathies with Palestinians sends money to Hezbollah.
As my two previous pittings of fellow dopers indicates I am loath to see someone called a racist without just provocation. Nazi requires an even stricter standard for me to stomach the label. In my opinion the circumstantial evidence that Millen was indeed a Nazi, or as close as we get to one among these meatheads, was convincing. My opinon would change were it to be shown that the racist invasion was not prompted by Millen’s participation in the original thread.
On a lighter note I couldn’t believe how many of our user names are replicated in their world. Among their prominent posters is a Fenris, Coldfire, MuadDib, and Winston Smith. I must stress I did not, would not, and would implore that no one from here, should post on a racist board. I was just trying to make a fair judgement as to the veracity of those who posted here.
Based on his posting here taken in a vacuum, I’d disagree. but I hadn’t realized he was a Stormfrontie, in which case I’m considerably more skeptical of his claims than I was.
Heh–their Fenris came over here during or just after the first Stormfront invasion and signed up as “Fenris01” or “Fenris1” for a while, leading to no little confusion and concern until The Powers That Be made him change his name.
Thought I’d do a quick search of the Stormfront message board, but it seems that Millen88, if he is a member, uses a different username there.
I did find a thread there linking to the GD ‘defend white supremacy’ thread and it is quite incredible to read - most of the participants are of the opinion that dopers are closed-minded, one of them even claimed that posts (made here at the SDMB) would be edited to make a mockery of the poster. There’s a hell of a lot of paranoia and projection in that place.

In an attempt to end this silly thread, that has completely ignored the issues I originally brought up, and instead heaped less than witty insults upon me, let me just clarify:
I did not imply that anyone useing 88 was a Nazi, but that when one who espouses whit supremisist beliefs useses it it seems too much of coincedence.
I did not suggest that he should not be allowed to post his beliefs.
I felt it would be improper to interject into the ongoing thread and therefore addresssed my concerns in the pit.
I do not suggest that anything he professed was in itself worthy of the charge of Nazism but that combined with a veiled reference to Hitler, I suspected that the true nature of his beliefs were based in Nazism.
Since so many of you took offence at my voicing my suspicions here, I apologize.
Annyone want to say this guy is not a fascist? I think it is funny as hell that the two most voiceferous critics of me, have since started threads (one of them locked) against the very thing I was ranting about.
I do not suggest that we ban Nazi’s but that we point them out and run them off with intelligent and caustic argument. I suggest that we not do as Ilsa Lund, Fenris, Marley23, gluteus maximus, NHIBI and others have done. That is we should not defend them. We should let them defend themselves.
