Carefully chosen.
jjimm, either he is so deluded as to be beyond reach or ( a bit more likely in my mind after that particular line ) he’s just another troll trying to wind you up. Either way he may be deserving of your ire, but definitely not your time. Unless you really enjoy the poking, I’d say ignoring him would be the way to go.
Well, yeah. They exist. Which is why this guy had to go on a rampage. Nothing says ‘let me convince you of the righteousness of my cause’ like killing innocent people.
Thanks, Tamerlane.
Well spoken. I’ve reached the exact same conclusion.
If it’s any comfort, the same thought occurred to me as well.
Also, I thought it was all tasteful and stuff how the GD thread died off shortly after the shooting happened. But then this thread (or rather, its hijack) happened instead. Gross.

Can one say "slimy dishonest quilsing clish git"? (clish git standing in for the scottish cüntlich, a strange word like many scots words).
Thanks. I was worried because I know where he works, all of a few hundred feet from the car bombs .. and it was right about when he was supposed to be headed to work. He had today off because most of the businesses in that area are closed for damage repairs. The whole not being able to get in touch with him by phone was the worst because it just rang and rolled into voice mail, and texts were going through but no answers.
[corrected spelling in my name]
LOL so I was thinking myself.
Isn’t it odd how pacifistic the vikings turned out? Not that I want a bunch of rampaging scandanavians roaming around with battle axes and bearskins …
While this murderous scumbag is an animal of the lowest order, I’m not sure it qualifies as terrorism. If this was a lone incident and he’s now taken off the streets, “terrorism” doesn’t seem to apply. If, on the other hand, he acted as part of a group that has done this before, then I think “terrorism” is apt.
Oops. Sorry.
Berzerker!
Well, the Viking era ended almost a thousand years ago. Most people not of Scandinavian descent have some warmongering or other a lot fresher in their heritage.
Just own up to the fact this crazy is from your camp - we all have dysfunctional members of our sub-cultures, get a grip on it.
Also, some sub-cultures consist predominantly of dysfunctional members.
Part of the Sword of Damocles tying your identity and self worth to other people that look like you.
Kinda what he does to other groups.

Please don’t do it again.

Huh? He wasn’t addressing another poster. That’s not the way I took it. Then he clarified in Post 41.
Oh fuck! You’re right. Sorry. Qin Shi Huangdi please disregard the moderator note I issued. Thanks magellan01.
Still, it was a bit ambiguous - I suppose in the future it would be wise to clarify to whom you are addressing such words.
In what bloody fucking way is this not terrorism you bloody provincial fucking idiot?: the targets were clearly political and aimed to terrorise!
Too white for you? Too Christian for you? undermines your personal “wariness” of immigrants, muslims and other not quite like you… Lone incident?
Bloody hell, this is exactly the excuse making you would run on and on about if the cretin had been not of your proper colour and ethnic background.
Exhibit no. 1 of extreme apologia and provincialism.
