I just got permanently banned at one of my favorite sites. Kinda came a shock to me too, because I was pretty sure I had been on my best behavior. So I look to see what I got banned for…

…THAT is banworthy? I’m sorry, but if I’m not allowed to take potshots at creationists for being demonstrably wrong and therefore either ignorant or lying, then there is something wrong here. And I don’t think I was even insulting anyone on the site, either, because the number of YECs on that site is what, 3? This really bothers me because that was one of the sites I spent most of my time debating on, mostly because it was about on par, intelligence-wise, to SDBM, but with less people, making the debates a lot easier to follow.

But yeah, anyways, fuck you stupid thin-skinned moderators. You may go eat a dick.

I just got a warning at a large general interest message board.

The reason? “Being naughty”. Yes, those were the words used.

The warning I can live with, but for fucks sake I am not nine years old, telling me I am being naughty really rankles for some reason.

Fucking moderators, don’t they know I got a rep to protect. :wink:

Yes he is serious. The moon hoax page seemed serious to me too. I especially liked, “Did you know there are no photographs of the moon before 1850? It’s true!” Or “there’s no mention of the moon in the english language befor 1066! You can check!” lol… too good.

What do their rules say? Calling people, even a group of people, “insane and stupid” is something I could see falling under a rule about insults or flaming. I don’t necessarily agree with such a rule being wise or necessary, but if their rules say to keep it civil and polite and you didn’t, I don’t think they’re being thin-skinned.
