I pit thin-skinned moderators

Welll, during Rape Month (Feb - Apr) we do…

So this is a blanket pitting of all moderators?

That’s probably it.

I got an admonishment for telling someone who was spouting gibberish on another board, “I see. And have you tried making sense?” Well, I thought it was funny.

I hear that a lot from my patients.

Speaking personally, I’m a thick-skinned moderator.

Maybe try an exfoliant?

Oh dear, until you enter internet fandom, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Women in fandom have basically turned equality into a hipster trend. You think feminazis are bad? Ha ha ha. I got into a discussion once where someone said using the word ‘nigger’ in historical fanfiction was inappropriate because it offends people today. So, if you wrote a story about Tom Sawyer and used the word ‘nigger’, people would freak out on you.

There was also the time someone said they weren’t on top on all the terminology and such of transgender people and asked for someone to explain, wherein they proceeded to get flamed over their lack of knowledge. Mind you, they asked for people to correct them, but no! Not inherently knowing that the PC term today is ‘transgender’ as opposed to ‘transgendered’ will get you internet attacked!

Any deviation from the social justice script and you are automatically labelled a troll.

And turn into the kind of douche who takes everything personally? No thanks.

One of the joys of LGBTQetc. folks and allies being human is that there’s just as much chance of meeting an asshole! Thereby doing all kinds of damage to the side. Hooray!

It is one thing to post facts and insights. It is something else to post attitudes of contempt. You posted an attitude of contempt. Moreover, you posted it concerning a religious issue. When discussing religion on on internet forum, or anywhere else for that matter, one should discuss religions one does not practice as though one is talking to friends who practice the religions.

Now, I have had my problems with moderators here for discussing my belief that genetics and genetic differences are relevant to the human predicament. It is one thing to say that, and to say why one thinks so, and something else to tell crude racist jokes. Nevertheless, an internet forum belongs to the administrators and mods.

You misspelled “…for dragging by belief that genetics and genetic differences are relevant to the human predicament into every thread regardless of relevance”.

(Kudos, though, for being willing to do so even when it shoots down your overarching thesis, as in the case of the India thread – they only discovered agriculture in India circa 1977, right?)

I take my rape with pancakes, thank you very much.

If you violate the rules it’s possible to be banned.

In this case the rule

seems pretty clear cut and hard to miss.

Since Creationists probably visit the forum, calling them “insane and stupid” is a pretty blatant violation. While I may agree 100% with your sentiments, learning to play by somebodies rules in their sandbox is a fundamental skill in life.

Just saying.
