I recently saw the best movie ever!

My friend was astounded that I had never seen this cinematic masterpiece, so he rented it for us to watch.

I was gobsmacked! This movie had EVERYTHING you could possibly want in fine film entertainment. That is presuming what you want is sex, M&F nudity (which is never gratuitous), great tunes, fights, martial arts, shootings, explosions, car crashes, evil villians, tons of quotable lines, and even a monster truck. Plus it has the timeless glamour that was late 80s clothing and hairstyle.

I’m sure I don’t need to say anything more to make clear the masterpiece to which I refer…

Top Gun

Substitute F-14 for monster truck and beach volleyball for martial arts.

Sorry, I missed Sex and the City 2.

Car Wash

Is it Rolling Vengeance?

Man, you guys are WAY off the mark. All I can say is “Be nice, until it is time to stop being nice!”

I was in the ER last night after slicing my thumb open, and I was able to use the line, “Pain don’t hurt.” :stuck_out_tongue:

MAN I gotta see this flick again!

Is it Jackie Chan’s rarely seen sequel “Rumble in the Nudist Camp?”

Road House?

Definitely one of the all-time great Dixie Mafia movies.

Ron White - “Six bouncers picked me up and hurled me out of that bar like I was a Frisbee. Those big old New York bouncers that think about bouncing. They hang out with other bouncers, talking about bouncing. They go home at night and watch Road House and fondle themselves.”

This. A masterpiece.

Wow, you’d never seen Road House? Watch it one more time with the Kevin Smith commentary track.

I’m gonna go with Sin City.
Although the male nudity was of the yellow variety and not enjoyable in any way.

Crap, how long did I have that window open?
I thought I was going to be post #5.
I’m not sure I count Patrick Swayze’s chest as male nudity.

Not sure how I ever missed it. Guess it came out when I was outta school, and starting new job, marriage, and family. And this wasn’t the type of “date movie” my wife and I would pick.

I’m serious about this being a great movie, tho. Still find myself smiling just stinking about it. Probably worth watching if only to see Jeff Healey playing behind the barricade…

I hear next up I oughtta see Point Break. Maybe convince my fambly that a Patrick Swayze retrospective is in order. :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice shot of his butt as well.

Road house? Was that good as in good-good or good as in Starship Trooper-good?

Your slip is showing.

And with Rifftrax. Their first and still one of their best.

Sorry, but Starship Troopers was as good as it gets.

Jack Nicholson was in Starship Troopers?!
