I just watched Road House for the first time about a month ago. It was pretty good. Could have used more boobs though.

The chick that got nude in road house was all skin and bones…now the bad guy’s gf was hot.
Wasn’t there a throat that got ripped out in Road House? If ripping throats out was over the top even in Rambo I can’t imagine how it wouldn’t be ridiculous in a Patrick Swayze movie.
It was all dramatic. You have to see it to understand. Also, he was fighting was a homosexual martial arts expert, and one of the best lines in the movie (as indicated by the OP) was his threat to Swayze:
“I fucked guys like you in prison.”
My sentiments precisely, although he’s a little grungier than I usually prefer 'im. He’s most droolworthy when playing a cowboy, IMO.
Ergo, Road House wins. So many of Patrick Swayze’s movies are on my list of movies I can’t skip past if I run across them on TV. I’m such a child of the 80s.
I don’t know that Jimmy was precisely full-on gay; lots of straight-identifying people will commit homosexual acts in prison, but never do so on the outside.
