Nekkid.
I switch around a lot. Most of the time I sleep naked. But sometimes in winter I’ll wear a t-shirt. Or a nightgown. If it’s really cold, I might put on some sweats or pajama bottoms but then I’ll almost always take them off in the middle of the night because I’m too hot. I only wear underwear to sleep in when it’s that time of the month. And I too must have some sort of blanket or sheet over me in order to go to sleep. You can put me in the “no particular habit” category.
I buy pajamas like they’ll never be sold again, yet I sleep nude about ninety percent of the time. (The jammies are my customary around-the-house uniform.) Usually, despite my love of jammie pants, if I’m sleeping clothed, it’s in a tank top and underwear.
naked at home, running shorts and a tee if I must, elsewhere
In the skin I’m in, and nothing else.
There’s always a pair of gym shorts/sweats at the foot of the bed for excursions when the child is home from school, but if it’s BW and me alone, then who am I covering up for?
I feel all twisted and tangled if I have to wear clothing of any kind to bed.
In fact, I’m feeling kind of warm now…
Woohoo! Or, at least, 90% of one.
Count me as another one who sleeps naked. If I have to wear something, because I’m at my parents’ place or similar, I’ll wear a nightshirt, but I’ll hate it.
I sleep in real pajamas in the winter–long pants, long sleeves, usually buttondown. In the summer I wear short nightgowns.
Another nude sleeper, and I’ve been that way since I was 12. Sleeping clothed is too uncomfortable, so I always sleep in the buff, even when I have company. :o
oddly though, I always sleep with a sheet and a comforter pulled up to my shoulders. Even on hot alabama summer nights. :x
Stark naked for me. My body temp sometimes rises considerably when I sleep. Anything more than a sheet and I’ll soak the bed in sweat!
People wear CLOTHES to bed?!?!??
And some of you like to go naked in the shower. *We * like to think we’re maintaining standards, of course.
*Kidding, kidding. It’s an old joke.
Boxers only. Used to wear a tee during the cold months, but got to feeling crawly with even that on.
Also, I sleep sans covers about half the year.
I sleep starkers.
In the summer I sleep in my underpants and a t-shirt. Pajamas in the winter. I’m female, for the record.
Depends on the weather. Nothing at all when it’s warm, underwear when it’s not.
All year round, no matter what the temp, I tend to wear a t-shirt and a pair of track pants to bed. The only variable is how many comforters I have piled on top of me.
Naked, most of the time. I usually need at least a sheet, even in the summer, though this morning I kicked everything off and brought the fan in.
Sometimes, though, I fall asleep in one of my husband’s business shirts. I like them, because they are so oversized and comfy on me. That’s usually what passes for “nightwear” if I have to walk around the apartment in front of a window or something, for the sake of decency.
I was actually going to post a thread like this due to a conversation I had with my boyfriend yesterday … great minds think alike?
When I was a kid, I slept in a tee shirt and underwear. When I went off to college, the first year night gowns were more practical than pjs as I would shower before bed and trying to put on pants in the shower room just led to being sopping wet for the rest of the night. My roommate convinced me my nightgowns (my mother picked them out) were more apropriate for my great aunt than me, so I switched to pjs. Right now I’m living with a roommate, so it’s still pjs. My mother sent me two night shirts for my birthday, which I mentioned to my boyfriend. He said that once we move in together, I won’t need them. Silence insued. He was surprised that I choose to sleep in clothing. He prefers to sleep in the nude. I always thought that was uncommon, although I appear to be might be mistaken.
I sleep naked, but I have GOT to sleep with covers - and not just a sheet. I have to have a sheet, a comforter and a blanket - I love winter when I can snuggle under enough blankets to choke a horse. I also have to be holding onto something…I still sleep with a stuffed cow every night.
But I hate sleeping in nightclothes - they get all tangled. So naked with covers works for me.
