I sleep in my underwear - a survey (TMI?)

Pajama pants and t shirt unless it’s unbearably hot(my attic room and the Memphis summer sometime collide), then it’s nudey. I am living with my family, but they’re a floor below, so I like to believe I’d have some warning if someone decided to come up. The only real problem I have with nude sleeping is cats that try to crawl under the covers with me. Their claws can end up in sensitive unprotected areas. So there’s definitely that.

Sleep pants, but then again i haven’t lived by myself in years and my room mates tend to discourage rampant nudity.

When i am alone i’ve contemplated the idea except it comes down to, flannel feels nicer against the skin than cheap cotton sheets,

Now if the sheets felt better, well than i think i would have to try.

Underwear. And I have to have it. Either tighty-whities or (more often) boxer briefs.

I can’t do boxer shorts, especially to bed. You know that fly in boxers? It’s not very secure. And I roll over a lot during the night. Without fail, the dangly parts creep out and touch cold cloth, which immediately wakes me up.

Undies, boxers, and a large T-shirt. I own pretty pajamas, but the baby kept spitting up on them, so…

The fact that you don’t have air conditioning in your bedroom, makes that a necessity doesn’t it?

But still pretty damn sexy.

I wear a tank top and underpants. Never socks! Never! They suffocate my feet and give me nightmares.

I can’t sleep naked. It’s too… mmmm… distracting, is maybe the word I’m looking for.

Ah…soft cup would make sense…but you try buying one in 30E!

However, like I said before, irishfella would probably take it off anyway. He’s quite sneaky, and if I do wear a top to bed usually waits until I’m too sleepy to notice and then takes it off me! I have no mission of ever waking up anything except topless.

I get that some people would probably find that behaviour unacceptable…I don’t. If my sweetie fancies me enough to want me topless, I’m not so determined to wear a top in bed that I would feel it necessary to thwart him.

Nekkid, night shirt, or long flannel night gown, depending on the season.

I never wear any kind of pants to bed. If I get up in the middle of the night to pee, I don’t want the hassle of having to pull things down.

Naked.

And, I think you’re wacky to sleep in anything otherwise.

And, I think that if it makes you feel uncomfortable and/or vulnerable, you should explore that and try to get over it.

It’s bedtime. It’s sleep. Be natural. It’s the time to let go of everything.

…No.

No clothes for me, unless company’s over. Then I sleep in a fitted tank top from Vicky’s Secret and boxers (the fitted is essential - because it clings, it doesn’t get tangled as I move. Apparently the boxers don’t bother me so much). SpouseO generally sleeps either in his boxers or in some comfy shorts he has - says he prefers to sleep that way. Me, I think it’s weird to wear clothes in bed (unless we have company).

Like others, tho, I’ve gobs of pajama pants for general housewear. Maybe I’ll change into them tonight after work.

I have to have some type of top on, because I don’t like the way my boobs feel against my arms. I usually wear a tank top or cami with panties.

Ouch. I see your point.

In your position, though, I think I’d probably wear a top at least sometimes just so he’d take it off, but then, I’m funny like that.

Nude or boxers.

I’m with you, Asimovian. I’m a gal here in So Cal, and I don’t wear a nightgown or pajamas unless the weather is very cold. These days, I wear undies, shorts and a tank to bed, and then I usually wind up tossing the shorts.
It’s just too darned warm to have a lot of clothing on in bed.

If I’m alone, I sleep in shorts and a T-shirt or just undies and a T-shirt in the summer, and pajama bottoms in the winter. If I’m with my girlfriend, I’m more likely to sleep in my underwear.

Another nude sleeper. I’ve done it since I was a kid. I think I was 8 or 9.

A cotton t-shirt is my usual sleep garb. Sometimes cotton panties, if my hiney gets cold.

I have some gorgeous nighties, but the lacy Victoria’s Secret stuff is usually too uncomfortable for actual sleeping.

Underwear(Boxers or a pair of shorts) with the occasional bare assed naked…

winter: boxers and t-shirt
spring-fall: shower attire
