I Think DrChuckie Needs His Very Own Thread

Say, I’ve been wondering something for a while. There was that bit somewhere in the Gospels where Jesus told the guys to go out and spread the word. If they ran into a town where they weren’t welcomed, they were to try and teach the people three times. If the people still didn’t get it, the disciples were to leave the town and never return.

So, how many are you up to here?

That should have been [symbol]Anaspaeis emon balonon[/symbol]
:wally

I just think it’s funny that on the page of his touted site selling the video, “No Tolerance for Truth: What Our Children Are Learning About Homosexuality”, the blurb mentions:

I mean, Dude, ain’t that what you’re trying to prevent?

*Bolding and italics are mine.

Yeah. But just remember, these two intellectual amoebas are NOT representative of Christianity at large. Just the asshole factions of it.

Apparently, they also never heard about the sheeps and the goats.

“I assure you, as often as you did it for one of my least brothers, you did it for me.”

Nothing about sodomy there.

In my humble opinion, you guys like Polycarp so much because he says what the majority wants to hear on this subject. Not that I don’t like him and I’m sure if he discovers this thread, he’ll be adding his 2 cents.

Meatros, I can’t water down what scripture says in order for people to come to Christianity. I’m not pushing anyone away from anything. I’m saying what God says about this ever popular subject, just as DrChuckie is. The truth can either be accepted or rejected. There are people who have accepted the truth, there are people who have come out of homosexuality and are living normal lives with spouses and children.

As always, debate on this subject will go on forever.

Haw Haw!

(sorry, I thought his post was missing something)

Growl.

This really gets under my skin, straight girl that I am. I’m not a fan of blanket hatred, or any hatred at all.

Tell me that this treatment of other human beings – whether you are pleased by their actions or not – is not hatred. Tell me that with a straight face.

Assume that all the statements in the Bible that can be considered to be against homosexuality. Then tell me this:

The Christian God is a God of love, right? A just God, a jealous God at times…but when you get to Jesus, his message was one of love, wasn’t it? Of giving of yourself. Where did he say that you must hate those who commit sin?

You’re picking and choosing what parts of the Bible you want to pay attention to. Never mind even the bits that tell you what to eat and wear. You’re not Jewish, so I don’t suppose you’re required to be kosher. But taking a very tiny part of the Bible indeed to justify outright hatred and – in some cases – muder of your fellow man…that’s wrong. Utterly. Because the Bible also tells you to do your worship in private and to give up all your family and your worldly possessions to follow Jesus.

You accuse homosexuals of having an “agenda”. Perhaps…that agenda, however, has nothing to do with your children or your family. It has to do with their own – the homosexual agenda is to live a life of peace and understanding with their neighbors. That’s about the size of it.

There’s a splendid man who says all this better than I can…why don’t you check out his words rather than mine? And let’s DO talk about paganism and the rest; that’s a conversation I cherish. I really do.

No , they are living repressed lives of self-deception trying desperately to conform to your fictional view of human behavior.

Ever heard of John Paulk

How about answering me without just c&p’ing your website? I want to know exactly how Pagans/Wiccans hurt society. Surely one’s choice of religion doesn’t affect others.

This has to be the most unintentionally hysterical Pit thread I’ve ever read.

Chuckie, baby, are you ever going to explain that “Hebe” remark, or are you just going to run away and hide from it now? What’s the matter, don’t you have the balls to stand up for what you believe in?

The loudest are often associated with the whole unfortunately. I’m a Christian, and I would like nothing more than homosexuals to be treated as equals.

I also don’t think homosexuals are damned to hell just because they are homosexuals. I also don’t think it’s necessarily a sin if homosexuals engage in homosexual sex (I will say it probably is a sin if they aren’t in a committed relationship and are sleeping with everyone they can-but I apply this to heterosexuals as well).

Even if I did believe the twaddle about homosexuals being an abomination, I STILL think they should have the right to get married, live how they want, etc.

After all I’m not God and I’m not going to be judging them.

But I suppose this makes me a “cafeteria Christian” and I’m damned to hell, even though I live by John 3:16.

So go ahead, cast your self-righteous stones.

Oh, and blood sacrifice? How much blood was spilled for God in the Bible?

Jesus’s big thing is that he was supposed to be the last sacrifice. But boy howdy were people sacrificed up until him!

And modern pagans have little to nothing to do with ancient ones. They’ve got some of the same beliefs, but “An it harm none, do as ye will” is pretty standard. People who don’t believe that are commonly known by most pagan folk I’ve run into as “psycho babykilling fiends,” but thankfully the PSFs are in the horrifically small minority. In that I’ve never seen evidence that they actually exist.

Damn! There wouldn’t be so many empty shells if we hadn’t eaten all those shellfish! Now we’re really in trouble!

I think I’m going to open a clam shack and call it the “Handbasket”!

Boy, when his4ever comes off as the voice of reason, you know you’re in Bizarro World . . . OK, let me apologize in advance to my Christian friends, but I want to let the Doc know that:

  1. I do not believe in your god or your bible, so what they say does not interest me.

  2. There is no such thing as “hell.”

  3. There is no such thing as “an eternal soul.” Just the brain and the mind.

So, surely you can see that from my perspective, you come off as a raving loony?

So, DrChucky is Linda Harvey? No wonder you’re so conflicted, Bud; you’re arguing against homosexuality while portraying yourself as a guy, even though you’re a married woman.

The Bible says God created human beings. Check.
The Bible says God created all the animals too. Check.

I have two female cockatiels who keep trying to mate with each other.
I have seen what appeared to be two male dogs mating.

If God is so against homosexualism you’d think He’d at least be keeping the animals straight, so to speak.

Fuck you, H4e. Polycarp is popular because he debates–he doesn’t vomit out the same worn-out crap every time a subject comes up. Some people may not agree with him, but he’s willing to listen to what they have to say. You’re just like one of those little dancing coke cans that wriggle oddly whenever a noise is made near them. Except, in your case, the trigger is a debate about homosexuality, and the result is that you just post bullshit like “Oh, you guys just don’t like me because you don’t want to hear the truth!” and “But I’m just telling you what God said, don’t blame meeee…”

You’re just a whiny little fuckwit who jumps on the martyrdom bandwagon of whichever bigot of the week happens to catch your eye.

You’ll probably say you’re being persecuted for this post, but I’m too tired of reading your worthless screeds to give a flying fuck. So shut the fuck up.
