I thought I got a chain letter today...

however, the letter itself let me know, “THIS IS NOT A CHAIN LETTER!!” Since it is in all CAPS and has two exclamation points you know it has to be true. As everyone knows, when you write a letter asking people to send you money and that will help those that send you money to make a fortune, you have to let them know THIS IS NOT A CHAIN LETTER!! In fact, it is just good practice to information everyone you write a letter that THIS IS NOT A CHAIN LETTER. Otherwise, how would they know?

Damn!! I always wanted to get an honest-to-God chain letter that came in the mail. I am sick of this internet, spam bullshit.

But, alas, I will have to continue to wait to get a real chain letter, since, THIS WAS NOT A CHAIN LETTER!!

The letter is pretty interesting, though. I know it not a chain letter since IT IS NOT A CHAIN LETTER!! And I also know it is not a scam since it says, “THIS IS NOT A SCAM!!” But the letter is pretty close to some other letters that have been floating around since the early 1990s. It is funny that the Bill Holman, who sent me the NON-CHAINLETTER, who IS NOT A CONMAN, has the same name and story as is used in some obvious scams. What a crazy world we live in.
