Before the upgrade, on quick replies, the default was no signature - now it seems the opposite is the case.
I looked all over the USERCP for a way to change my settings as far as that goes, but found nothing.
How do I fix this? (other than being vigilant about unchecking that box, I mean)

The signature doesn’t seem to be on by default in the quick reply. The box shows empty for me.
Oh, I see. If you actually click on the quick reply icon attached to a post, the “Show your signature” box is checked. If you just write in the quick reply box without clicking that icon, the signature box remains unchecked. I’d recommend you avoid clicking the “Quick reply to this message” icon and head straight for the quick reply box. Should save you a step and keep you from posting your signature.

I dunno… based on my last reply, it seems like sigs are semi-automatic.
And, since you have to either click ‘quick reply to this message’ just once, or scroll down and click the sig box (just once)… It’s a single action semi automatic.
I think this thread is about to go off half cocked…
