Cranky, I’m not sure what, but that sounds like a stellar idea. FTR: we’ve got a slew of Americans, a few Cannucks and an Aussie, so this is really starting to take shape. Figure next Friday I’ll do the pairings of whomever has their info in to me, say…by noon, e.s.t.
This is perfect timing…I’m moving in a few weeks, and I’m finding tons of crap-I mean-“valuables” hiding away in my closets as I pack up my room. Now, to pick the best one to send…Oh, the possibilities!
On a side note, does anyone want a bunny rabbit? He’s cute and black and furry…my new place doesn’t allow pets. Hmm, maybe if I cut enough air holes into the box…the perfect white elephant gift!!
Yair, that’s what I was wondering too. I guess you could hook Caz and I up, but that wouldn’t be as much fun for us as getting something from overseas…
For 1lb from USA to England, 3-5 days will cost anywhere from $5 to $10, depending on the dimensions of the package.
I don’t think those rates are unreasonable, especially since we won’t be spending any additional money. Sorry about pasting in the whole links-- I’ve tried to make them hidden, and they keep disappearing on me when I preview. Weird.
P.S. Anyone like my coasters idea? Any other prize ideas?
