I painted a couple of rooms at a neighbor’s place.
The bedroom was pretty straightforward, but the bathroom was a major bitch – wallpaper removal (wall and ceiling), popcorn paint the ceiling and sponge paint the walls.
Still, 500 bucks is 500 bucks. And she was happy enough with the job that she asked me to do her basement when I get the time.
Strangely enough, I got back from a camping trip this weekend.
Then I watched Lord of the Rings, and putzed around on the computer for a few hours.
I went camping.
Up near the BWCA in northern Minnesota. In the Sawtooth Mountain range. People from where your pictures were taken have a name for the Sawtooth mountains. “hills”.
Can you fix your Yahoo page? Opal should have been photo #3.
You’re absolutely right. I was actually thinking that today whilst at work. It’s fixed!
I bought a new vacuum cleaner: when I tried to run my old wet/dry vac, flames shot out of the top filter.
I also bought a new printer, since the old one wasn’t working (very bad printing). Turns out, I kid you not, it needed a new ink cartridge. :smack: (At least the new one is also a fax. I just need to figure out how to hook it up to the phone line which is in the next room. One crisis at a time.
Just to make sure I give the site of my photos one more good plug, visit this site to find out more about all Kananaskis Country has to offer.
See, I’d be impressed, but I lived there before I moved here. I think you may be mistaken in labelling that photo ‘goats’ - mountain goats look like this. I believe those are Bighorn sheep, females and adolescents.
You are absolutely justified in correcting me thusly. They’re not goats at all but are, indeed, bighorn sheep.
Nice.
Me too, but you took better pictures. Here’s one of the area that I found on the net.
You guys are making me homesick! There’s a trip home to Alberta planned for this week, and I’ll have to abandon my parents and get out to the Rockies.
