How was your weekend?

It was fine
Went to watch Black Panther because it was my aunt’s birthday, then afterwards we went to Whole Foods(2nd time I visit them, first time was the other weekend) and we got a coke and a birthday cake for my aunt
Yesterday I went on a seven hour walk.

I worked all weekend, but I have a great job so it was not so bad.

I met up with a friend, cleaned up some stuff around the house and cleaned out the car, went to a meeting/planning event for some summer amusement park trips and made some extra food we can use in leftovers during the week. I was almost gald to get back to work and rest up.

Took the family into New York to the Museum of Natural History. Whatever annoyances my wife an I experienced, a three year old got to ride on a ferry boat and see dinosaurs.

Sunday was the first of several Spring Chainsaw Beautification Days.

My back and arms ache.

What do you do, paint them? Put sequins on them? Gold-plated chain?

Thread relocated from IMHO to MPSIMS.

 Shoulda seen that coming. Well, I did disassemble, clean, and reassemble my three (who the fuck needs three chainsaws?)***** saws.

*****three chainsaws. A mid-size Husqvarna, a big, heavy Sthil FarmBoss, and a lightweight worx battery powered chainsaw that converts to a pole saw.

I played in a concert in Quebec City with a videogame orchestra. Good times!

::sigh::

Who needs three chain saws? What? You’ve never seen any zombie movies? Three is just a start until they come up with this in the local hardware stores.

After all neither of us is all that from from the Evans City Cemetery.

I took a Sunday drive on the back roads of Monterey County with stops to wander around and take photos of random stuff in Moss Landing, Elkhorn Slough and Aromas.

My weekend was crap. The nadir was towing my wife’s broken truck home in a heavy rain/snow mix. The rest of it wasn’t really too much better.

Everybody? The question is why you don’t have a forth.

Someone once asked me why I have 7 motorcycles. I told them it’s because I haven’t bought the 8th one yet.

Great weekend, Saturday morning drove down to my brother’s place in southern CT, we headed into NYC to mid-town west side, had a nice dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse on W. 49th Street with friends of his, then headed over to Radio City Music Hall for a concert - Bobby and Phil Duo Tour with Trey sitting in for the second set…awesome, Trey brought some fantastic energy, great song selection, just a lot of fun…

Oh, shit, is the weekend over?

Wife and I had a romantic weekend in Baton Rouge. Spent 2 nights there (used my Marriott points). Friday, we went to watch the LSU softball team play. Saturday, we drove over to Lafayette to visit family. That evening, back in Baton Rouge, we caught an LSU baseball game. Gorgeous weather the entire time with highs in the low 70s. Not for everybody, but what we like to do together. Also, had a good amount of sex.

Seven… Hour… Walk. Sorry, but in combination with another of your recent posts, I am beginning to notice what might be a trend. You’re searching for something. Not sure if it’s meaning in life or excitement, or both.

I reiterate what I said in response to the other thread: Do something new and frightening. You’ll love yourself for having done so.

(Oh, I am impressed, though! Seven hour walks sound like such a feat. I’m almost jealous.)
