I win the Internet! First MMP of the week

G-d will f–k you up.
:dubious:

Not much on my game plan for today. Laundry, shred up a block of cheese so it’s handy, try to rest up for tomorrow (long busy volunteer day anticipated).

The Princess was very patient with me this morning. She waited until about quarter to ten to start the breakfast campaign. Then, after I fed her and went back to bed, she came back in and insisted on some more snuggle time :).

14% humidity is ridiculous. I’ve seen it lower, but still…

Now flytrap we don’t know for sure that gotti is Presbyterian. :stuck_out_tongue:

nettie I shred big blocks of cheese too. So handy for makin’ cheesey bread or other stuff that calls for shredded cheese. Of course sometimes I buy already shreded cheese cause I’m also lazy.

I’m all showered and cleanded up. I thought y’all would want to know that.

You’re not supposed to drink the water in most of Montreal today. I had a whole cup of water at work before I realized it. :smack:
Luckily, the part of Montreal where I live isn’t affected. So I’m filling several bottles with water here at home and I’ll bring them to work tomorrow. Or maybe I can sell them on the black market. Oops, we’re not supposed to say things about illegal activity on the Dope, are we?:dubious:

We has 88° that feels like 93° (officially) & Jr had league championships this afternoon so I’ve been in the bleachers for the past two hours; he’s been there even longer. Unfortunately for him, he can’t come home to a nice cool house - there’s a calendar problem with the AC*

  • It’s not June yet. :dubious:

Yup, this sounds like a good night to sleep on Murphy. I wanted to last night but was too stinkin’ tired to set up the mattress.

sari, the best way to catch a mouse is to make them trust you. Put an unset trap somewhere they like to hide and put a peanut butter cracker on it. Keep doing this for a week. Then set the trap. As long as you clean out and rebait the trap promptly, you’ll catch all the mice.

Thunderboomers keep on coming in. I’m gonna do stuff with yarn for the rest of the night. Later y’all!

Howdy all

Speaking of hot I am in SE Texas working in an un air conditioned shop, need I say more

We have decided that it is beer thirty and have done something about it. Not really a serious work day

Anyhoo thats all I got

How many witches does it take to change a light bulb?

Spaz I will suggest we do that.
I know we have multiples, the first one I saw was big and brown, the next one was little and grey.

Change it into what?

BTW here are some pics of the guys I have commissioned to write the TPAid theme song

Byron sings and Mike plays guitar SFW but not your eyes

Enjoy

Okay, that’s the 2nd time in a month that someone boarding the metro (subway) here has somehow managed to walk, not through the subway car doors, but in BETWEEN CARS and get themselves injured. At least this person survived. The first one was killed. :frowning:

Seriously, why does this keep happening??? :frowning:

Gene pool in your area needs chlorine?

Is there something really wrong with the design of the car or the platform that it’s that easy to confuse the door with the area between cars?

are we really back? I’ve just been hitting refresh over and over.

Me too Rosie. We are back (for now).

I had my last counseling session today before heading back out to the boat. I’m reading a book on codependency and doing the activities in it. Hopefully this helps me. I also learned a relaxation technique which should help me with my anxiety at night as I lay in bed, and help me get more sleep as well.

Tomorrow I need to continue moving things into storage and packing up my kitchen things.

Hope everyone is having a nice night.

I love that song. WARNING: The religious may find this extremely offensive. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I had another pedaling fail yesterday. (I’ve been riding with cleats about two weeks.) I wear a helmet, of course, but I still whacked the back of my head hard enough on the pavement to give myself a mild concussion. Actually, I wonder if it was kind of a cumulative injury, since I also whacked the back of my head, though not as hard, when I fell two weeks ago.

There’s definitely a learning curve to clipping in and out of the pedals.

I sprinkled the foot of my bed with medicated powder.
I think the stuff sells awful, hopefully mice do too.
It just creeps me out that the little f’er could be crawling on me when I sleep. If he brave enough to run right up to my dog’s nose he probably isn’t afraid of getting close to me either.

I checked my desk again and only had deposits in 1 of the 7 drawers. That is weird, except I used to keep incense in the desk and I heard mice don’t like incense.

Anyway I’m tired, my eyes are tired so I’m going to put the dog out and go to bed.

G-d will f–k you up, Dude.

I killed a deer mouse once who was making a nest in my sock drawer.
She was just trying to make a living and a nest for her anticipated babies.
I rescued a house mouse from the cat, took it out into the garden, and the little bastard beat me back to the house. I saw him scurrying under the house as I was walking up the stairs.
Karma will f–k you up.

DH is cranky as my sleep study will be done at a nearby Hilton, rather than the cramped place his was done at.

My sleeping problems are more of apnea than back pain. I predict an AHI over 20, followed by getting set up with a CPAP machine.

Is Karma the big kangaroo cousin to the little mousies?
The one with the boxing gloves?

“Instant Karma gonna get you”

“mumblesomethinghere”

“moreofthesame”

“on and on and on, we all shine on, like moon and the stars and the sun”

::crowd wave::

Night Mumpers, who has Dog watch?

::yawn::
