Icewind dale II party - good enough

Y’know, I started me up a new IWDII game. I really liek the game. Anyway, I started a party with most of the unconventional classes:

Human Fighter (boring, but good)
Tiefling Rogue (Will soon go all fighter/archer)
Human Monk
Elven Bard
Human Druid
Human Wizard (Enchanter)

Is this going to be enough to tackle the opposition in IWD II? After playing the game, I’m not so sure: they don’t have uite the brute force I used last time. Should I go ahead and revise my party (drop the Wiz, take the Sorcerer?) Should I put some more power classes in? Or am I good enoguh to take 'em all on?

I don’t know…you seem heavy on the…well…“smarmy” classes to me. I mean, I usually have at least 2 fighter types in my party. But then I don’t use a lot of the potions, or enhancing spells, simply because I can’t keep all the damn rules straight.

All I know is that frickin’ “Heart of Fury” mode is impossible. I think all the people I see posting that they made it through HoF with level 1 Characters are lying thier asses off. I had level 16 characters, and I’d get killed on average every 10 minutes. Heck, I used DaleKeeper to boost my party to have like 1500hp each, and still die every now and then. Stupid HoF mode…grumble

Hmmm… I was wondering along those lines… my first party had A paladin and a fighter… the fighter had immense Hit Points…

Yeah, sometimes you just need a couple of characters that can stand toe to toe, while the spell flingers do their stuff. And I usually have a Rouge, as a distance weapon user. Either bow, or crossbow. And I personally wasn’t much impressed with the Monk class. Ended up giving him a sling instead of hand to hand.

I’ve decided I can save this party simply by multiclassing the Rogue to barbarian after level 3. That gives me plenty of leeway in making a tank party, and I should be able to survive until then. I will probably restart the game to rebalance my attributes better.

Thanks all.
