Sugababes is a female pop group. I assumed it was known in America, but it must not be I guess. The blonde, is very good looking.
and ‘you guys’ is altavista. I should have punctuated my sentence better. if you put a comma before ‘altavista’ it might make more sense. It was written as if I was talking to altavista.
I am a hypocrit. I don’t like it when people get easily offended, but I get easily offended myself. however, sometimes it looks like I am offended when actually I am not. I do want everyone to like me, I don’t think everyone hates me, I just think the people that matter think I am a bit childish based on early posts - I think they are judging a book by it’s cover.
I will try to thicken my skin even more. I am not really pissed off or anything, I just like to be, er, talkative.
My reply about people not understanding my posts was not meant entirely as an attack on you. It’s just that a lot of different people have said it, which makes me think it’s become a habit of the SDMB collective to chide people for not making perfect sense. Your reply was just a catalyst to attack the others who say my posts make no sense.
And, I don’t mind apologising, it kind of closes the case. It clears up bad feelings. It is humbling and I need humbling sometimes.
I actualy thought they were American until I heard their voices while not singing. That is why I thought an American would have heard of them. It turns out they are very british, but they look American and sound very American when they sing.
Oh, come on. Of his three threads, one was vaguely racist, or at least racially insensitive as seen on these boards. The way he phrased the other two threads means they’re in the wrong places, and now he’s sucking up to the mods.
I respect you and your opion, jarbabyj, but I think you’re being a bit too quick in defending one guy and picking on another for just trying to be funny, perhaps with bad timing.

I agree, sioban was cute, but IMO the new one is better , there’s something about her on that vid and live, she has a very seductive face and a very nice bod!
And she’s 18 (which isn’t much older) I am 23 (just), is it ok to fancy an 18 year old? even if she is famous?
I like the way this thread is going. keep it up guys. wikkit - jarbabyj is ok, reasonable etc… I understand her (or his?) grievance about mother-dream guy’s replies. but you are not really out of line, it’s a double edged sword. The guy is not ‘creepy’ for having these dreams (people always have creepy dreams) but he is a bit out of the ordinary for telling thousands of people about it.

The way the OP was written didn’t have the tone of someone who was deeply disturbed, IMO. The guy was a little freaked out, but seemed a little cavalier about it as well.
lobley - I’d love to check out your blonde, but I’m really afraid to go to a site with the word “sugababes” in it! Maybe later…
Lobley, maybe the reason some people were having a hard time understanding your first couple of posts was all that “French.” Sure, this is the Pit, and some flaming is expected. But when your whole post sounds like Ozzie Osbourne just stubbed his toe don’t be surprised if people who actually write in English have a little difficulty connecting with you.
