If technology could tell when you would meet the love of your life, what would you do?

I was just watching the movie “Timer”.
The premise: Someone invented a timer that will tell you, to a day, how long it will be before you meet the love of your life, as long as both people have the timer installed.

What would you do, in any or all of these scenarios? Heck, come up with some of your own.

  1. You don’t have a timer, and you meet someone you really like. Do you go out and get timer, so you can be sure if they’re the right one?

  2. You get a timer, and it shows that it’s going to be years before you meet your one? Do you wait until “the one” shows up? Do you chase short term relationships, to fill the time? Do you ignore it?

Is the love of my life going to fall in love with me too? Am I guaranteed to be happy?
If so, on the day that the timer is going to go off, I’ll be sure to go to a spot where rich, beautiful women hang out. Like a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model photo shoot.

P.S. Wait, what information does the timer give me if the love of my life doesn’t have her own timer? Anything?

Will it tell me where?
