"If Wales wins, I'll cut my balls off": Rugby fan is true to his word!

What can I say? The man was devotedto his Rugby I guess:

“You! Out of the gene pool!”

I think that’s rather effectively been taken care of.

Were his friends impressed? Because I am absolutely not cutting my own balls off unless they were.

I can only hope that this kind of thing catches on as a form of protest. Really, I do.

Mangetout, don’t know about impressed, but he seemed to do his very own Welsh version of Braveheart:

It would certainly be… erm, surprising.

Even more surprising that he was able to walk 200 yards after his little operation to go show them. The article says something about mental health problems in his past. I’m not surprised.

I’m female, and it even made me wince.

Yeah, you’d have to have had balls of steel to pull off something like that.

Spoilsport.

Poor bastard was on medication for his mental problems. He should not have drank on them. He did with these horrible results.

Very sad.

Can someone please give this man a Darwin award. He is one of the few living people who has earned one.

Shh! Listen very closely! It’s the ghost of Charles Darwin.

I’m not sure if he’s laughing or crying.

Pretty impressive, but I bet he doesn’t have the balls to do it again.

I agree. This appeared the same way on Fark a few days ago - “Hey, let’s laugh at the mad Welshman” without paying attention to the facts.

Just don’t challenge him to “grow a pair!”

He must have been mentally ill, he bet against his team. I mean, you can doubt that they’ll win and make a bet that way, but you would want some sort of celebratory bet. “If Wales wins, I’ll drink a pint for each point!”

This is one bet he should have Welshed on…

Now that is pure comedy gold…

Craziest sports fan since the Korean guy who immolated himself so his ghost could assist the home side.

I’m guessing the left nut had expected this for quite some time but that it took the right one totally by surprise.

You know, I had said the exact same thing about the Eagles winning last Sunday…

Whew!
