If you could bring back one show

It was excellent, best TV adaptation of Nero Wolfe by far.

Also the Hornblower Series ended too soon.

Nobody watched it when it was on, besides a few critics, so why would another season be different? :stuck_out_tongue:

i never knew about this show until netflix… I swear I can relate to every character as a child growing up in the 80’s. Then again I loved the show “Square Pegs”

I’d like Star Trek: Enterprise to get its final three seasons. It was canceled just when it was finally getting good.

Ms. Rigg has her hands a bit full right now. She has some serious “avenging” to do.

Joan of Arcadia would be my second choice, but I want pie and Digby and a way for Ned and Chuck to kiss without a piece of Saran wrap between them.

Not to mention the aunties and Emerson Cod.

man I could use some Mew-wy Hawt-mun, MEW-WY HAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWT-MUUUUUNNNNN!!! right now.

Ah, fond memories of that old geezer falling asleep in his bowl of soup and drowning.

Pushing Daisies

Gilligan’s Island

But like what was planned where the Castaways get rescued.

The Honeymooners

But this time allow them to have children and move up to a bigger apartment or even a home. Imagine Ralph Cramden as a Dad in the suburbs?

Another is just a final year of *Hogan’s Heroes *but this time the allies come in and liberate the camp. Hogan then reveals everything and the German government tries to blame Klink for working with the enemy but Hogan has to come to his defense.

Another would be to have the Russians liberate Stalag 13 and Hogan now has to work with the Germans.

Yeah, it required some de-zombie-fying, but I’m pretty sure those posts’d fit better here: http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=815451

Already missing ATHF, and the Bob Newhart Show (Chicago, not Colorado)

Didn’t Hanna-Barbera do that?

Gabe Kaplan wanted to do a final season of Welcome Back, Kotter in which the Sweathogs graduated from Buchanan H.S. and attended community college and Kotter was their instructor there. I would have liked to have seen that.

Harry’s Law - Kathy Bates

Kathy Bates said NBC treated her & her show like shit. It was aired for only 2 seasons.
Harry’s Law revolves around Harriet Korn, a recently fired patent lawyer, and her group of associates as they come together to form a unique law firm in a rundown shoe store in Cincinnati. In the second season the practice is moved upstairs to a larger office with the help of prestigious lawyer and friend Thomas “Tommy” Jefferson. - Wikipedia

Your talking “The Flintstones”? Yeah basically.

Pushing Daisies (another vote)

Star Trek:TOS–it was supposed to be a five year mission.

The Dick Van Dyke Show–one one season of Mary as Laura…

I second your Deadwood nomination, drad dog. 5 more seasons would have done it I reckon.
Auto correct just tried to make you ‘dead dog’ and I wood never second that.

Babylon 5
Veronica Mars

First choice: Constantine.
Alternate choice: Nowhere Man.

We have already had votes for “My Name Is Earl”, “Get A Life”, and “Better Off Ted”.

So, I would like to see another season of “Wonder Woman” with a newly-young Lynda Carter.

Jackie Gleason wanted to sue The Flintstones out of existence. However, his manager told him, “Yeah, you could win your case, but do you want to be hated by millions of kids as the man who took The Flintstones off the air?”
