Then, it should be turned off at all vBulletin boards. But I’m a member at a couple of other vB boards

In the case of the SDMB,

  1. The moderators are listed for each forum.

  2. They could filter out strings

  3. They could give warnings to users who abuse it that way. After all, they don’t censor posts here before posting. An abusive status would be spotted quicker.
