Ditto that. I bought in ages ago, and the events of the last few days have done nothing to dissuade me. (Personally I think glee looks a little… unshaven… already. :D)

Perhaps we should have a different theme. Aliens in space? Cultists on a cruise ship? Or how about reverse it have lots Mafiosos but with FBI agents having infiltrated them?

Ignorance fighting dopers versus trolls and socks.

Mod = Guardian Angel
Admin = Seer

Cracker/Hacker = Alpha Wolf

Pirates and ninjas! :smiley:

I do have a beard. :eek:

So either you’re being amusing … or you can remote view! :cool:

Wanna be tested? :slight_smile:

What will be hilarious today is when dnooman claims seer. Wolves are dead, and that’s all he has left. Its 50/50 between giving up and claiming seer, but I hope to got he claims. That will be fucking hilarious. I predict he goes for the desperate seer claim.

sturm, dnooman, madtheswine and jsgoddess.

them’s my pics for wolves.

Just a reminder that I would very much to like to be included on the next list.

This thing is better than reality television, and I love reality television.

You know, somehow I can totally see this premise working with Jeff Probst hosting

“I’m sorry, Peter, the town has spoken. You have now been lynched.”

What other survivor-ish catchphrases could we come up with for this? :smiley:

<before nightfall>

“First thing’s first. Lunch. Back up for grabs.”

That makes 6 wolves out of 21 - that’s quite a high ratio for this game AFAICT.

I’m inclined to go with mad and dnooman, myself. **mad **is sounding increasingly desperate.

Oh, and I don’t agree with OAOW’s latest post. lynch the 99%ers first would be my policy…
A Tiny Rant
For me, the only thing that seems to be spoiling the game is the number of people who are out of town/country/have issues, and don’t make the votes. As Ogre’s example shows this can be disastrous if a specialist does it. I hope the next lot will be more dedicated.

Indeed the brain and the gut don’t always agree. I can imagine a scanario in which jsgoddess is actually town, and sturm (wolf) saves her as a smoke screen to lynch bonus townies.

Curiouser and curiouser.

It looks like I was right on both my comments re: dnooman and JSexton(post 34).

Seconded! I don’t want to play (definitely lurk too much) but will happily sit on the sidelines with popcorn and cheer the townies!

I was considering a Board-themed game next, if i’m the one running it. Can the wise Mods discover the insidious Trolls? Will the Admin discover the identity of the evil Hacker? Will the Charter Members be able to work in concert?

I do have a list of people who want to play, but it may be incomplete. I think after this game i’ll invite people to email me in the round-up post if they want in. Considering the amount of people interested, it might be a longer game, so i’ll stick in some extra roles. I haven’t yet decided whether i’ll make all roles known yet or not; people have gotten used to the game, but i’m not too sure as of now. I’ll see how it goes.

I don’t think another game will work :eek: (although I’d like to play!)
After all, hardly anyone has viewed this thread, let alone the game thread itself… errr

I think a board themed game would be lots of fun! Just to double check, I am definitely in for the next game which, judging by how things age going in this one, should be starting in a couple of days.

Still maybe a bit too soon to call it… depending on how many wolves there still are, and how undercover they still might be. :smiley:

No kidding, just when you think the game is a lock for the town…sheesh. I don’t know what the wolves are doing, but they seem to be doing it right.

I can’t beleive that RT would have ACTUALLY started the game with more than 4 wolves…but the not knowing for sure is a real killer.

I’m confident that Sturm is the Seer, and the last two wolves are Dnoorman and MadtheSwine.

Game over in two days.

It’s a team game of course, but Sturm wins my ‘best player’ award. :cool:
Winston Smith wins the ‘crowd pleaser’ category. :slight_smile:
