You don’t have to travel at all.
Yep. Czarcasm whines about how unfairly @CairoCarol was treating him by predicting his actions rather than answering his question; then once she did answer his question, he reacted in precisely the way that she predicted.
Der Trihs is but a horseshoe’s gap away from being a Nazi. It’s no coincidence that they sound so similar.
Projection on your part. You do have a tendency to think anyone not identical to you is a monster that should be killed.
Isn’t it convenient that there is a ruling political party to support those selfish needs.
Yeah, I’m the one who thinks that anyone who doesn’t think like me is a monster. That’s why I made all of these posts:
You can really see from all those posts I made to what extent I think anyone who disagrees with me is a horrible monster.
How typical, you try to twist disapproval of things like rape, persecution and mass murder into intolerance of anyone difference. Probably because you support all those things, as long as they are aimed at the “correct” targets.
In a serious response to this, I have to say that it is up to each one of us to decide how we respond to others who are Trump/MAGA, and that is doubly true for family. In return, were I your wife/girlfriend/whatever, I would expect the same treatment if I chose to stay home for Thanksgiving or accept an invitation to celebrate it with others rather than share my company with people I absolutely don’t to be around. Mutual respect is the key.
The problem is that you think that anyone who disagrees with you is a supporter of rape, persecution, and mass murder. Because you’re a brainrotted idiot.
See? There you go.
Eta: actually, I take it back - to be brainrotted you need to have had a brain to begin with, and I’ve never seen any credible evidence of that claim.
No, because that’s what they vote for, or in your case post in support of.
- I don’t post in support of Trump
- most Trump supporters didn’t vote for him because they support rape, persecution, or mass murder. The difference between us is that you want to pretend that they did because it feeds into your masturbatory victim complex, while I would like to win the next election.
But, by voting for Trump, they are supporting those things. You can wave your hands and say, “Well, actually they only voted for him because inflation,” or whatever, but the hard fact is that they objectively supported those things by voting for a man who has committed, or has promised to commit, all of that stuff.
I’m also curious how you know that “most” Trump supporters don’t support the things he literally campaigned on. I’m prepared to accept that there’s a significant minority of Trump supporters who are just idiots who didn’t realize what they’re voting for, but I’m going to need more evidence than, “Well, my cousin is a Trump supporter, and he’s okay,” before I’m going to buy that most people who voted for the fascist didn’t actually want him to do all the things he’s explicitly promised to do.
Some of us kind of figured out you felt that way. And suspect that you will stand fast on that whether it takes four years or forty.
Again, I ask people to look into what happened in Germany when supposedly “good” Nazis went home to non-Nazi families that just wanted things to be normal…especially after the Party replaced the family as the stronger unit.
Bingo. When is it appropriate to blame people for the choices they made? “I don’t really support the bigotry I’m just willing to tolerate it for reasons” is not an acceptable moral argument.
So you think that 76 million Americans woke up and said, “what this country needs more of us rape, persecution, and mass murder”?
You don’t think it’s more likely they were motivated by inflation, the border, etc?
If that’s the case, I don’t think we share a reality. Maybe the Dope really is a portal to another dimension.
I know quite a few Trump supporters, and some have told me why they support Trump. I’ve never heard a single one of them support mass murder, or rape.
Some of them are opposed to things like the availability of gender affirming care to minors, which could be perceived as persecution, but even then, these concerns are based on ignorance, not on “we need to put these trans people back in their place”. And from my limited sample, this is a very distant third or fourth reason why people voted for Trump, not a primary cause.
The man said multiple times, in public, on tape, that he thinks the radical left is an enemy of America and that it would be easy to use the military to get rid of us.
IDGAF whether or not Trump voters support sending the military to my home to drag me away, they voted for the man who wants it to happen.
It occurs to me that during my family event this weekend, if I said that conservatives are destroying my country and armed men should get rid of them, my family would be pissed off at me, even though I’m not going to be Commander in Chief of any armed men, and Trump is.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that MAGA isn’t going to be nearly as transformational to American society as Nazism was to German society.
If only you had said something more believable like “few” instead of “I’ve never heard a single one of them”. If you find it impossible to find the haters, your ability to see what the fuck is going on is either seriously in doubt, or you live an extremely sheltered life.
