I got today’s in 38. Afterwards, I kept guessing with words associated with synonyms of the answer, bar as a long piece of metal, instead of a tavern and they scored quite low. So that means that they are looking for a specific meaning of a word.
57 on #70 today, much better than yesterday.
I gave up today. What’s frustrating is that a couple of my guesses were synonyms for the answer, but scored relatively low. It put me off the track of solving it.
I gave up as well. Another one where I feel like I could’ve guessed all day and never got it.
Yeah, todays was disappointing. I guessed win and it was ranked pretty low.
My god, I swore I would always quit at 200, but I had so many in the 900s that I kept going to 229 before I got it. I had 19 other hits in the 900s!

Same, and I got there in 86. There were a handful of “aha!” moments, so it was much more enjoyable than yesterday.
Interestingly, I tried a number of two-word common combinations that you might imagine since you know the answer, and it did score them, but instead of the green bars it gave me a bunch of question marks.
Yesterday was bizarre. I had one answer in the green and the got it, around 30. I was stunned.

Today was more like it. Got the answer, but it was work. I’ve adopted a tiered strategy: I find a series of similar words that score well until I get to the next series of words that score higher and so on. Before, I would get hung up on whatever the highest scoring word I had found, but a lot of times, that word was still pretty removed from the actual answer.
Woohoo 53 today. Though I got 992/1000 on guess 19 and it took me that long to finish. I got stuck on a mental track.

Today I had nothing in the green before guessing the word. Bizarre.
That’s amazing. I had one day where I had one in the green (and not that high) before guessing the word, but to have no greens is quite the feat.

What a trainwreck. My first green was on my 78th guess, and it was 176/1000. Nonetheless, if I had made the right association from that word, repeat, it would’ve helped a lot.
Instead, it took me until 175!
