a couple of very important statments have been written in this thread since my last post:

this one and astroboys first post i took at face value, i did not peer into the vast realms of cryptic comprehension to try and figure out what this COULD mean, i simply took it as the words spelled it out.

even though this statement of yours is so very true i still have one tiny problem with it;
there has to be UNDERSTANDING for the ignorant to gain knowledge and therefore cease to be ignorant. it is not sufficient to tell 5 year olds that 1+1=2 “just because”.

the way it looks to me now is that the ignorant can be enlightened, but i wonder if they possess understanding are they really ignorant?
in the light of what racinchikki contributed; even though the “ignorant” possesses no knowledge but he in his favour possesses understanding…that is the ability to know the facts and understand them as handed to him, is that “ignorant” person really ignorant?
according to what racinchikki says, he should be ignorant.
so concluding from that we are dealing with 2 types of ignorant people…ones capable of understanding knowledge and ones not capable of understanding.

I have come away with a feeling that there IS a reason for it, but what is the reason? Other than that, your English (IMO) seems to be pretty good! And that comes from an ESL teacher.

i am sure you can search this message board for my reasons on not using capital letters, its nothing major really…just a specific posting style i developed during my programming years, i hate capital letters in programming because they really slow you up and there is nothing more annoying than figuring out that your error that you have been searching for for hours is because ther is a capital letter in the ImStupid() function.
and since programming generally is done in english it sort of became a habit that i quite liked because of how it simplifies life in general.

Well, it doesn’t seem to simplify life for the ones trying do decypher your messages. Isn’t it thinkable you’d use a different “style” when writing on a message board as opposed to programming? If it isn’t, it just tells me once more you really don’t give a shit whether anyone truely understands you or enjoys reading your posts.
