Although this is neither mundane, nor pointless (at least to ME!), Saturday night, October 27, brought a new addition to the family.
Introducing my new niece, Olivia !
I live too far away to have been there for the birth, so these pix are the first I’ve gotten to see of her. IMHO, she’s a little beauty!
I’m one proud and happy aunt–in fact, you could say that I’m tickled pink!

I’m not really sure. I was out there not too long ago–I try to go see the folks at least once a year, planning the trip when the kids are out of school–and got to go to the shower. I hope to go in spring at the latest. The cost of air travel will be a definite factor in how soon I can plan that little trip! But I do hope that it won’t be long!

I’ve got one niece just born, one nephew who will be born in November, and one yet-to-be-determined niece/nephew to be born in June. These are all my husband’s siblings’ kids, though. My sister’s too busy going to school and Iraq and stuff.
