I got KitKat bars and small bags of Cheetos for the kids. It’s bitter cold so probably won’t get many at the door.
We are turning off the lights and not answering the door either. There are plenty of other houses to bother.
I guarantee that there will be no cheep chawklit on the shelves of the stores near me tomorrow. There never is. I’m convinced the stores put it back in the basement til next year…
Foodstuffs have been made and/or purchased and delivered. I got some fried chikin for us and have some green beans and N.O.T. sallit on which to sup. I also have some rolls I will bake. No cake though. Sigh.
We don’t get candy beggars out here so I didn’t buy any. I shall attempt to purchase tomorrow however.
We had chicken, broccoli, and pasta roni Angel Hair with Herbs. Yum. Ice cream later.
I’ve closed our front blinds and we won’t turn on any outside lights, but then we never do. I wonder what kinds of leftovers will be brought to work. I seem to recall last year there were some goodies. 
We have supped and all is well. After we et, we went over to Linda’s. OYKW wanted to speak with her as well and we know the visitation will be a zoo. Beppie’s visitation will be tomorrow from six to eight p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral will be graveside Thursday at eleven a.m. OYKW is takin’ Thursday off. We have also invitated to the church after the service to have N.O.L. Church lady cookin’! YUM!
ruble, will the lovely Mrs. K be dressed as Glenda the Good Witch? I’m thinking that the bubbles would be just the thing to perfect that outfit.
I got no TOTers last year (my complex is all studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, thus not many kids), so I have a stash of stickers for any little beggers who might show up.

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. In retrospect, we should have picked a color other than blue, so as not to be confused with the cookie monster. 'Beamer is happy though. He keeps getting stopped so folks can take his picture. 
We have a LOT of chips left over which we can finish over the next 3 months. We only had about 30 kids this year 
But on the good side -------- FIRST ON PAGE 2!!!
Now that I got that over with -------- pretty much a normal work day and when I got home I knew I would have leftovers. Giving me the chance to utter that immortal line of the holiday ---------

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 46 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 79 and N.O.S. for the day. Temps will be back in the low 80s by the weekend. Oh well, beats low 90s in the Fall I reckon. Today is geezer discount day at the Pubic Sto’ so I shall go for provisions. I shall also go find some cheap chawklit which will necessitate a trip to :eek:Wally*World:eek: but I really want some kisses and mini peanut butter cups so brave I shall. Beastloaf, mac 'n cheese, peas ‘n carrots and cornbread shall be supped upon this evenin’. Also we shall attend the visitation for Beppie.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I suppose I should purtify if I am to go about the public.

you’re not entirely wrong if there’s left overs (most stores have the big brands forecasted down to the exact bag) they ship it back to Hershey mars ect for credit which may or may not get repackaged some of it might end up at dollar tree big lots…
now its the off brands like palmer Frankfurt ect that tend to end up in discount carts
Nary a knock on the door last night, so success!! But boy, did I have a weird series of dreams.
Among the parts I remember - I was waiting for Val Kilmer, and when I found him, he was writing a note to me on the wall. There was a dark warehouse with a rickety wooden pull-down stairs that started to collapse when about 30 people were standing on it - I ended up hanging from a side wall, hoping my fingers didn’t slip, but I got down safely. There was also a dark hotel room, a large, dark parking lot, and at some point, I became Secretary of Defense. Plus twice in the dream I had to pee, and I woke up having to pee - luckily not in the bed.
But I’m here, breakfasting, looking at a rather long note Josh left for me. Another busy day ahead.

It is freezonious!!! (34º outside; doesn’t feel much warmer inside.) It’s now November, I guess it’s time to move the HVAC from “Off” to 'Heat" for the first time since Spring.
Passed out about 2/3 of my candy, better than in previous years. But woke up feeling a bit under the weather, hope it isn’t anything much.
Oh, and my smoke alarm is chirping at me every sixty seconds, sign of a low battery. So I took the battery out, but since I couldn’t get the door to close, it still kept up that chirping! So going out at 7:15AM to buy a &*$%%^ battery.
Blurf.
I scored some cheap chawklit (Hershey’s Miniatures,[sup]TM[/sup] Hershey’s Kisses,[sup]TM[/sup], Baby Snickers,[sup]TM[/sup] Baby Butterfingers,[sup]TM[/sup] and Miniature Reese’s Cups[sup]TM[/sup]) from :eek:Wally Jr.:eek: and then went to the Pubic Sto’ for provisions. Go Me! I have also made up the mac 'n cheese for tonight’s suppage. Now it’s time to be a slug for a while.
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Long shift today. It’s a balmy 42 degrees this morning.
