I'm becoming..... a housewife!!???

My husband and I are selling our main business (a retail store) Monday. I took over the day to day running of the shop when our daughter was three weeks old- she stays at the shop with me all day. The problem is, I don’t know what to do now.
I’ll have more time to keep up with our house (a good thing), but I have no idea what to do with our daughter. For the past year we’ve spent our days running errands, talking to customers, generally being busy. I’ve always had a “job”- a place I have to be everyday. I’m afraid now I’ll be bored or feel useless.

Can any stay at home moms give me the run down on your day to day routine? Have you made the transition from “important working person” to “domestic goddess”? Any advice?

Just don’t become bitter, sadistic, and overly suspicious like my mom.

I used to totally disrespect my mom for “doing nothing all day”. When I had the baby I realized why she did what she did and apologized. Since she’s passed away, I can’t help but think she’s laughing at me now. :stuck_out_tongue:

You could start drinking earlier in the day now!
Kidding, I’m kidding. Go to parks. Fun for the kid, great exercise for you, plus you’ll meet other people in your situation.
