Just out of curiosity, dare_devil, did this guy know how you felt about him? All along? Or did you just play flirt back with him? Because guys really have no idea unless you tell them exactly how you feel. Exactly. Otherwise, he might truly have not known, and was just comfortable enough with you to play around with. He might have thought he could flirt around with you with no repurcussions.
Another vote for go speak to him. Tell him how you feel and exactly why you feel the way you do. It’s not fair to keep him in the dark if he really doesn’t know. “Figure it out” means nothing to someone who doesn’t have a clue.
All that aside, I hope you feel better soon. Treat yourself to something nice you like, like a funny movie or a mini shopping trip, even if it’s just window shopping. Or whatever you like, I’m just thinking of things I’d do.
