Donnie is the biggest conspiracy fan in the country. And he has trafficked in them for years, in fact using one to get political traction which was an unlikely prospect without it. He is reaping what he has sown but it’s much more than that. He is a big time projector and accuser of others about what, it’s very clear to everyone else, applies in spades to donnie himself.
Therefore, if donnie wants to project conspiracies around, and use them to get an electoral win over a majority of voters, it’s reasonable to hold him to a high standard of transparency. It’s a minimum requirement for him to be considered innocent in these investigations.
Basically, for don the con, in re: his wealth, his freedom from russian influence, his charities, it’s “Cite or it doesn’t exist”

You’re getting something tantamount to a one-party state, and your party unilaterally seized control the Supreme Court back in March. You are arrogating to yourselves a decisive mandate for sweeping change and, particularly, for the elimination and rollback of whatever Barack Obama and all previous Democrat Presidents have managed to accomplish. But what you call a mandate is a fantasy, seeing as how you couldn’t even muster enough popular votes to surpass the despised Hillary Clinton, and that when she was facing her own party’s lack of enthusiasm.

The way I look at is, Trump fulfilled a certain geographical requirement which is one of the cornerstones of the whole EC concept. But one hopes that when a new President’s popular showing is so poor, there might be a modicum of humility rather than hubris–and in his voters too.

Some people are assholes. This doesn’t justify sweeping negative statements about huge groups. No, the vast majority of the “left” aren’t smashing property or doing anything violent. So why lump them (us) altogether, unless you just want to insult us?
