There it is. No one puts their hand on my woman and gets away with it. I’m pretty sure a lot of gang members would actually cheer me on, too. Just because they are ‘in a gang’ doesn’t automatically make them trash that like to beat up on women. I’d be willing to be a lot of them would even turn on their ‘brother’ if they found out what was going on. Beating on a woman is cowardly, what kind of tough guy wants to be associated with that?
I told you man, don’t involve the cops over something as insignificant like a fist fight. No one was even seriously injured? Like other people have said above: Her filing charges based on domestic violence and him hitting her is a great idea yeah. Let her do it. You think he’s going to get a gang to beat up or kill his own sister? But you getting involved in the whole thing over a little kneeling on the head business is silly. You’re just asking for more trouble on yourself here.

Police reported 62 victims of gang-related slayings, down from 72 in 2000. However, they accounted for one out of every nine homicides in 2001. Gang-related homicides have almost tripled since the early 1990s. Two-thirds involved drug trafficking or the settling of accounts.
One in 9 gang related which means 14 killings a year involving gangs, of which another 60% are drug trafficing/money meaning only about FOUR KILLINGS A YEAR are gang-related and not involving drugs or owing gangsters money. This means you have like a 1 in 10,000,000 chance of this guy killing you over something so stupid as this. Don’t overreact.

He may not kill his sister but I’ve seen people get the living shit beat out of them for less then Anal Scurvy did. The people like Anal Scurvy’s girlfriend’s brother (*) are truely trash. They don’t see things normaly. Everything, in their eyes, can be fixed with violence. This asshat is willing to beat on his sister, his sister for christ’s sake! You think he and his croanies (sp) would think twice about hurting Anal Scurvy?
Sure cops have important things to do but by this is important.
anewthought - Actually, yes. It’s happend over a lot less than this before. And with respect to your homicide statistics, those are all fine, but it’s not just homicide we’re concerned about here. It’s about irrational people doing irrational things, in the case of ‘the brother’. Moreover, it’s about the general safety of an individual and their right to live in peace and without fear of future harrassment. Those stats are just those they’ve been able to trace. It says nothing about the unsolved/in progress homicides nor the general beating/harrassment that goes on.
I have a good friend who was beaten beyond recognition because he cut someone off accidentally in traffic. And this was just some angry guy pissed off about someone hogging his piece of the pavement…not someone who had connections to a notorious organized crime ring. I’d rather Anal Scurvy err on the side of caution than downplay it and later wish he hadn’t.

I have a question for you, though. In the OP, you quoted the brother as saying he had “connections” with the Hell’s Angels, and I took that to mean that he’s not actually a HA himself. What are these connections of which he speaks? I know the HAs will stop at nothing to back up one of their own, but by the same token, they probably wouldn’t do squat for someone with whom they’d merely traded shots at a rally, or something like that.
