The entire 5-season run of New Amsterdam. A show full of promise, gone before its time.
A copy of the amazing Justice League live action show they did a few years back. Heard the acting and effects were tremendous, even with the big budget.
I’ll also take a copy of Firefly, Police Squad, and anything done by Bruce Timm.
Oh, he just said that because John let him sing “Mr. Moonlight” as a joke. But then Freddie kicked it out of the park and it ended up as a ten-minute jam/vocal competition.
And can I get the DVD of the 4-hour concert(/cookout) I saw on a cool summer night in the 70s, with a young Springsteen sitting on the edge of the stage, telling stories late into the night?
I’d love it if you could find a collection of the Dini/Timm Avengers Assembled cartoon. I’ve already got their earlier Spider-Man series, but I was only able to sporadically tape AA when it was on the air—Cartoon Network kept preempting it for Fawlty Towers and Legend of Galactic Heroes reruns.
If you see any History Channel shows made in the last two years and aren’t crappy reality programs, could you pick them up. It’s probably a forlorn hope.
They star Hugh Jackman. He fights (or befriends) all the classic Universal monsters, accompanied by an array of bad-ass leading ladies. The special effects are fantastic.
The films are in the spirit of the Indiana Jones franchise and are wonderful, scary adventures that all ages and both genders enjoy.
They were neither written nor directed by Stephen Sommers.
I found a trilogy that fits your description, written by Kirk Cameron & directed by George Lucas, and have tessered them directly into your computer’s DVD drive.
The Buckaroos Banzai sequels - I lost mine.
The complete Song of Fire and Ice series as well, with copies of the final books from the deluxe set.
The Wheel of Time mini-series that HBO did of Jordan’s work would be great, especially after they got someone up liven up the women and the maturity of the men.
The remaining seasons of the Harry Dresden series would be nice - I only have the first season.
Oh, fine. I didn’t really need anything, but if you insist:
The twelve-movie series made from the Aubrey/Maturin Master and Commander novels. If they have it, the edition with the extra features discussing the various interesting historically-accurate details, and explanations of the more obscure sailing and historical terms deliberately left unexplained in the movies in order not to dumb them down too much.
I’d like to order seasons 2 through 5 of My So Called Life, but please deliver them back in time to my younger self who can watch them when they originally aired… he’ll appreciate them more than I will. Thanks!
Oh, and DVDs of every major American sporting event for calendar year 2011 wouldn’t suck.
