Wow! Ryan’s performance was all 32 flavors of ass! He sang - or screamed - off-key, and the pathetic monkey moves were laughable. I’m glad his angry ass is gone. I hope he gets Botox and relaxes that damn forehead.
I thought Storm killed with that song! Dilana looked like she forgot the lyrics halfway through, and it was the first time I’ve seen her look uncomfortable up there. But I’m glad she’s still there. I just wish to hell they would’ve shown Jason’s outburst on Tuesday’s show. He blasted the whole “Reality” aspect of the show, saying it was all bullshit, the band knows what’s happening at the mansion and were sick of the edit that Dilana was getting to create a villan. But Burnett wouldn’t air something like that, and it’s a shame.
Eh, so Ryan’s gone. I really like him but there was no way they were going to choose him, so whatever. I do hope he finds some success as a solo artist after this. He’s one talented guy and if he’s not under constant pressure to rawk harder, I think he’ll do great. I suspect that the only reason they kept him over Storm is that they don’t want to look like they’re favoring the guys too much. I think she’ll be gone next though. I really don’t think they’d ditch anyone else who’s left over her. Once it gets down to Dilana, Toby, Magni, and Lukas, they’re going to have a tough time choosing.
And can I just say, way to go Magni! He’s had some tough weeks in the bottom three and totally deserved to be sitting there at the top all by himself.
Is it just me or is it beginning to feel like the real winners are the ones who get the boot? Supernova is looking pretty bleak at this point, but these are a bunch of talented singers who I could see doing really well on their own after this exposure.
Obviously Dilana was set up. It’s a shame. I like her, but am starting to like Magni more. I liked his little routine where he told people they should vote for him even if he’s not from their country and how hot he was compared to the other guys. It was adorable and I think it helped him votes-wise. He’s a great singer too!
Here’s who I hate: Lucas, or as I prefer to call him, Mucus. Can’t sing and what is that look? With that white shiny smile of his, I just know he’s a frigging poser who doesn’t even know what a real rocker looks like.
Agreed, at this point I’d love to see Magni win. I know he isn’t flashy like some of the others, but he has the most consistently great voice and a rockstar charisma without needing the crazy hairstyles and makeup. Also, his attitude is far more easygoing.
I hope he wins.
I still hope Dilana wins, because she is the best fit for this “rock” group.
I wouldn’t wish this band on Magni because he’s too talented. He could go so far and should do so without Supernova holding him back.
Storm is a much more talented performer and I hope she comes back to Portland and continues performing so I can go see her…she’s got a new fan. I wish she hadn’t wagged her ass in Tommy’s face just to stay on one more week. I’m pretty sure she would have been gone if Ryan hadn’t sucked so hard.
I knew Ryan was going to get booted as soon as he started his 10-minute climb up the sound stack. I thought Gilby was going to go up on stage kick him off the program right then. What a dork. Moody solo artist is written all over this guy.
Toby really doesn’t do much for me. I wish they hadn’t given him the encore, because I thought his Tuesday performance was the weakest of the lot.
Dilana’s performance last night was sooo bad. I wanted to like it, but it was horrible. She’s is lucky that she’s turned in so many good performances before otherwise Supernova would have to have sent her home last night if they wanted to maintain any credibility at all.
I must admit that I was a little surprised that Ryan went home instead of Storm. And I was pretty shocked that last night’s performances were so bad after a killer show on Tues.
I personally like Lucas’ style. You’ve got to admit that he doesn’t look like every other guy rocker on the show, and he seems really comfortable with his look like it’s his own and not like being dressed by a consultant.
As I understand it there are only two weeks left and the finale includes 3 performers. So…
that means they have to let two go next week. Am I figuring this right? If so, Storm and Toby will go leaving Dilana, Magni and Lucas for the final night. As for the vote for the booted contestant who gets to perform I’m guessing Zayra.
The returning bootee? Zayra is the obvious choice, though Matt Hoffer would be hilarious (in the name of spite). Yeah, Matt should come on the finale, play guitar, & totally show up Gilby’s skills.
