I was updating my e-mail address in the user cp, and when I hit submit it gave me the “you do not have permission” page. I thought this meant I was banned, and nearly had a heart attack.
I went to my e-mail account to write an apologizing e-mail, when I see that vbulletin sent me an e-mail confirming my new address. I then realized I wasn’t banned.

Amusing, no? My wife did the same thingt some months ago, but had you really beat out.
You see, she tried to change her e-mail address to the one she currently uses - namely mine - because she cannot remember her old e-mail’s password.
Got that? Since she could not use that addy, she obviously could not get any message about confirming anything, so she could not change her addy on the boards.
Friggin’ brilliant, no?
