No new chapter for the saga. I am still without a place into which to move, the closing date is still up in the air, and my hair is falling out from the stress.
I think I had better sense at 14.
It’s hard to find a place.
I have bad knees and my dog is scared of stairs.
He’s having trouble with the three off the porch and he has never done a full flight of stairs.
It made finding an apartment hard.
I’m fed up with people. When they’re not littering, they’re blasting crappy music or eating at McDonald’s or claiming that secondhand smoke isn’t harmful.
Damned fools.
We let Salsa’s make supper. Then we went to a nursery and talked to the guy about ground cover. He said pachysandra is one of the best around here. We actually went to ask about heather, but the only one he had was all dried up - ick.
Now we’re home - a/c still on because it’s still over 80 out there. I’m going to log off and assume the knit position till I can’t stay awake. Laundry and more yard work tomorrow - woohoo! At least it’s just supposed to be in the 70s.

sari that was a whole year’s worth of soap opera plot there. Some people are just best to let go, but you know that. Oh and doggy needs dessert too. 
flytrap none of ‘em are pesterin’ the Pope to make me a saint if that’s what you mean. I am teh evil who won’t listen to their oh so pitiful excuses. Tough. Next time, show up.

Home from Evening Prayer over to the church house. I slackolyted tonight. I didn’t drop the Cross or burn down the Altar so all in all I did good.
And on that note, I shall go check out a couple other things and then go lie on the bed and watch me some teevee until sleepy time.

They certainly should show up, but I be they’re bitching about your “going home early”. 
Oh, the convincing part is not done. My boss is convinced, but apparently There Were Meetings, and admin is convinced that this is not correcting a misunderstanding of what was asked for, but is an entirely new direction. So There Must Be Meetings to make the changes.
And today they’re under deadline for a bunch of reports, one of them mine. So it would be a bad idea to try jamming changes through now. And I’m supposed to be off tomorrow and Friday, so it may wait until next week.
But I have it all laid out, in a three ring binder, with numbered tabs . . . I should probably stop. . . . No one is interested in specifics. . . . (color coded)
I’m not sure yet what today’s high was, but at about 7pm, it’s still 81. If it’s this hot this early, I’m dreading July and August.
so it’s raining now - has been since about 7:30 - supposed to stop shortly after midnight - start again just when I leave the house for work, stop shortly after that, and rain again just in time for the drive home. Oh joy.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 60 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 83 and rain/ tstorms/apocalypse sometime this afternoon. We will have a cool down to the 70s for a couple days afterwards even.

flytrap I might leave the physical orifice early from time to time but rest assured I make up for it by irkin’ at home in the evenin’s. Besides, I am in and out of the place a lot like when I have to go tour the territory so they can get over it. 
Ok, now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas irk purtification must commence.

Stoopit cats woke me at midnight:30. Then when Taz was walking across my pillow and my hand, apparently my movement spooked him, because he freaked and launched off my hand, leaving me with a couple of bleeding scratches. Nothing like trying to find the right size bandaid when you can barely keep your eyes open… I eventually settled down and fell back to sleep, but when **FCD **hit the shower, that was it, so I’m up.
When it gets a little lighter out, I’ve got some laundry to take care of, and I’ll be doing some planting/transplanting after that. Not sure what else the day will hold, except that being Thursday, we’ll see our soon-to-be-moving daughter for dinner, so I should thaw something. I may go the easy route and use the pulled poke in the freezer. I can run to the store for buns and slaw. I think that sounds like a plan!
Man, sometimes being retired is hard work! At least today I can do it in shorts and a T-shirt…

And CRAP! Well no not literally. I was reading the posts about everyone’s din-dins and realized I am a dork and forgot to take out the salmonella from the freezer we was planning on having tonight. DOH! We just went out for dins last night. And there is nothing else thawed. Great this is going to be bugging me all day.
Its raining. The good news is I don’t have to go out in the field, the bad news is I’m stuck at my desk for the next 10 hours

Lucky I hear ya! Here you are with your taste buds all set for some tasty salmonella and it’s just sittin’ in the freezer in a big frozen lump. Maybe you can go by the sto’ and pick you up a rotissed chikin for dindin. I get taken out for not too shabby Chinese [del]hog trough[/del] buffet tonight so I’m good!
On the really surprisin’ irk things front, not one vmail when I got here this mornin’. Reckon maybe the whiners have really figured out I mean bidness? Nah. Can’t be! I’m sure whineage shall ensue this mornin’.
