IMDb skimping on credits?

Or are they putting all the “extras” now in IMDb pro? Looking at The Office and Lost, none of the supporting players are listed anywhere, e.g. my favs Jan Levinson-Gould or Mr. Friendly. Seems like IMDb used to list all actors, maybe I’m wrong?

I’ve noticed this more when looking up TV shows on IMDB than movies, which I suppose makes sense, since it’s not the ITVDB.

Check out tv.com. If a supporting cast member or guest star doesn’t appear in many episodes, you won’t find them in the cast list there, but every series listed has pages for each individual episode. Those will give you the information you’re looking for.

IMDB recently re-did their television data, breaking things down by season and then by individual episode. For example, here is an ep that lists Jan Levinson-Gould from the first season ot The Office. I’ve found that the TV credits have been less complete when going through the actor’s listing and overall I find the site much less user-friendly than it was. A lot of the goof information that I’ve submitted seems to have disappeared since the changeover too.

BTW, you linked to The Office twice in your OP. Lost
