Truly sad to hear this. Norine is one of my favourite posters, so best wishes from me and my family in Scotland.
I lost a good portion of my liver when I was a baby (to cancer), but it grew back and I’m still here. I always identify with those with liver problems, and I can only hope that Norine will have as much luck as I did.
Sending good vibes her way, and wishing I could send a liver instead.

I just assumed I’d been mis-reading it all these years… :smack:
That happened to my brother-in-law as well - his liver failed, followed by his kidneys shutting down as well. He was fortunate enough to have his organs regain their function essentially on their own - well, with the help of lots of medical care in addition, obviously. I’ll be hoping for good results here, too.
Here’s hoping the combined wishes and hopes for a recovery and long life can do the job. norinew is in my thoughts.
