Well, there’s an unending stream of maroons who think saying atheism is a religion is a useful, accurate statement. And the maroons do it before the “not collecting stamps” line is trotted out. The line is an valid answer to a mostly mindless debate point, and it’s a lot more interesting than the statement it’s answering
There’s really no need to find new refutations to stupid statements.

We need a version of Godwin’s Law or Rule 34, where one needs it pointed out to them that just because something happened to a woman, it’s because it happened to a PERSON, or even a sentient living being, and that it probably didn’t happen because she was a woman.

In any thread about organic farming, someone will post the meaning of the word “organic” in the context of organic chemistry.
Every time someone posts a thread about some phenomenon they have noticed, perhaps in nature, society, IT or wherever, the first few posters will write replies that show they recognise the phenomenon and establish that the OP’s perception was accurate. But then someone else will come along, ignore those replies, and state that they have never noticed the phenomenon as if that is somehow interesting or important.
