Y’know, I’ve never done one of these “In praise of” posts before, but I figure it’s about time. So I’d like to express my admiration for:

Anastasaeon: My favoritest newbie. For being very cute and very funny.

stately plump buck mulligan: For snarkiness as an artform. Bonus points for great hair and a kickass sense of style.

ava: For spunkiness and energy and…I dunno, great rhetoric. (Sorry, I’m trying to come up with a good term and I’m blanking.) And amazing hair.

Broomstick: For lots of great posts about airplanes.

tremorviolet: For general coolness.

calm kiwi, for teasing me with no oft-requested pic of herself in a bikini because it was too cold. (Ahem, it’s summer down there now) :dubious:

Wow, I am shocked and flattered. :smiley: But, how do you know I have amazing hair? I don’t recall ever meeting you; were you at a dopefest I attended?

There are many, many wimmins I would like to praise, but it would take too long and I bet I’d leave someone out, so just put Your Name Here.

harmless: For a great sense of humor, general snarkiness, and outstanding artistic ability in the mediums of graphite, acrylic, and smiley.

I’d like to show my appreciation for Hillbilly Queen, Cosmopolitan. Their posts always manage to brighten my day, and I enjoy chatting with both of 'em.

Guinastasia : deserves lots of praise, history is one of my loves and she exudes it.

Kyla : for being so gracious in sending me a copy of the Chicago Reader when I ranted in a pit thread that the paper was not available in Midway airport in Chicago!

OpalCat : for publishing my cartoon on the web.

Eve : for correcting my lousy grammar in a post! (no, seriously! It was an honor that you did it to me Eve!)

lel : for being there to prevent several Arizona Dope fests from being lonely.

Shayna : For being a great searcher of evidence! And the queen of the jungle!

scout1222 : For showing what dedication is, running in marathons is tough!
