I’ll be there late tonight, as my friend has finally convinced me that I should indeed go to fencing practice in the weapon I’m good at. So I’ll be there, but probably closer to 8 and I might be a little late depending on how many strains and welts I want to pick up to impress the ladies.
Me too! Hopefully by 7pm, though I make no warranties that could stand up as a contractual agreement, your mileage may vary, only valid in participating areas not including Alaska and Hawaii, keep out of reach of children because their fingers are dirty…

K, so there’s a couple of things I could say, but that would just be small of me. So I won’t.

burnmeup and I want to swim across the lake tomorrow night and check this out. Is the team full this week? If so, is there a peanut gallery from whence we could intimidate the other teams by being enthusiastic groupies? What time should we try to get there?
Assuming that the usual 5 or 6 people show up, there’s room for two more if we split into two teams. Which has always been the contingency plan, and allows for inter-board rivalries to develop, fester and culminate in smackdowns.
Seriously, the more the merrier. That way we can use two new team names instead of just one.
Plenty of brilliant team names to choose from, I’d say. JayLa and burnmeup, you’re more than welcome!
And, um, please don’t take it personally when I’m not there to welcome you. After a solid week of adenovirus-induced misery, my poor lungs won’t be up to pub air. Until next week, then, E.
Alternatively, we could have two teams of three or four, collaborate on the answers, and use the two teams to submit two different answers on questions we’re not sure about. “Okay, you put ‘kits,’ and we’ll put ‘pups.’”
OK, burnmeup is a bit under the weather and will not be there, but I’ll be there.
I’ve met Cervaise before so I think I’ll be able to find the group. See yas tonight! I hope to get there around 7 but will have to battle 520 bridge traffic so we’ll see.
We’re in as well. Like JayLa, we’ll be fighting the 520, so I’m not sure what time we’ll get there. Somewhere around 6:45-7:15.

Incidentally, we’ve painted a white ‘X’ on E. Thorp’s door. He’s unclean.
I’ll be there in the 7-8 range, probably limping heavily. We might get stuck with a crappy table for once, but I’ve heard it builds character or some such. If we’re feeling really hardy, we could always camp outside! I’ll bring firewood.
I would mock E. Thorp as well, but I think he has the same cold that I do, and it’s an annoying one. I may have even given it to him last week, when mine was just starting out. Sorry, E.
At any rate, I’m probably not going to be there, because even walking outside for ten minutes at lunch made my voice all raspy, so the prospect of three hours in a smoky bar doesn’t instill me with confidence. I want to go, especially because I don’t think I’ll be there next week, but my body is subtly hinting that it’s going to rebel if I don’t just go home and go to bed early. Again.

I’m going to be stuck late at work again. With luck, I’ll be done by 7pm and will hurry over, but it’s quite possible I’ll be here past 8 or even later. So call me 50/50 for tonight.
