Merola’s? No, but I do have the mirror. I just downloaded it for the first time so I could try to control things like the hot tub incident. Plus it makes it a whoooooole lot easier to get your customers to buy things. 
I may have to end up deleting it.
Another hack I love is the Ask Relationship Status (by syberspunk at MATY, I believe).
I have so many Sims I forget which ones are already going steady with what other. Now I can just ask about relationship status and gender preference. It also has a lot of realism to it as the interaction will usually fail unless the two Sims have a pretty high relationship - basically, if the person asking how they swing isn’t a close friend, the askee will tell them to get bent. 
One other useful hack is the Days Left Shrub that tells you how many days are left in all the Sims life cycles on a lot. Mostly useful for telling exactly how many days an Elder has left.
I’ll never forget when my very first Sim was getting on up there and I got all excited that I was about to see my first Sim death and it turned out she had just dropped a fitness level. :rolleyes:
