Colleague A: for killing trees (printing reams and reams of shite. I almost weep as I stare at the pile of paper as thick as my handspan dumped in the bin every day)
Although you are my ‘favourite’ workmate. You are the most fun to spend a shift with
Colleague B: for taking saturday off at short notice, leaving me on my own for the next 3 nights instead of 2.
Although you are also good company, perhaps a little quiet at times, but ‘comfortable’ company. And you save me the hastle of doing the [work based procedure] for when you are off.
Colleague C: For being so utterly fucking useless and stupid that I haven’t the time or energy to go into detail. You couldn’t press a doorbell without fucking it up somehow.
I have nothing good to say about colleague C. I never knew it was possible for any human being to be as ‘difficult’ and ‘hard-going’ as you. You make my life hell because either I work nights to avoid you or I work days and you piss me off
You gonna drive by this pit thread as well?
Define ‘drive by’.
If you mean my lack of posts in that thread (?) - well there’s like 115 posts to it now, a bit overwhelming. And I saw that people were arguing for and against, so I figured it was ok to let it ‘leave the nest’ and mature on it’s own.
Now you’ve got me thinking. Should I have ‘kept up with’ that thread out of courtesy and/or obligation?
No really, I am asking.
Is it an SDMB thing?
Maybe, maybe not, it just seemed like you cut out kind of quickly. I don’t think you need to stay to the bitter end, but I like people who start a thread to stick around for a bit.
No big deal I guess.
I like them to stick around too.
I remember cutting off quickly because a few people had strong[er than mine] opinions on the subject both agreeing with my opinion and against it.I did not expect this, and felt that by continuing I would be showing my naivety on the subject.
So… Bloody Colleagues, eh?..
Gee, you’re hanging around here a lot.

Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
I relate with yourColleague A rant. I used to work in a print room. One guy used to submit a job every week that took literally 5 boxes of paper per copy of the report, and there were always several copies of the report. The couriers told me that when they delivered to report, the previous weeks report was still at the drop point unopened. I had to fill in for a courier once and confirmed this. We complained about this for months and months. “Why are we printing this big hocking report when they aren’t even opening the boxes?”
