Umm, insofar as freezing up at the prospect of asking out an attractive person of the opposite sex is apparently a widespread phenom among OUR gender, what’s with the self-disparaging terms in which you imply that you are only doing as well at it as females would do?

The following statements are directed to wheresgeorge04, AHunter3,cher3, and anyone else of a like mind. My usage of the words “pussy” and “bitch” were used only in their colloquially disparaging sense of inadequacy, with no connotations of any kind specific to women. My diction in no way, shape, or form reflects on my attitudes towards women. Furthermore, anyone who suggests that this is the case from hereon out will have missed the point of my OP.
Exactly this. I went through my single years dating WAY over my head. Lots of times, those are exactly the girls not dating anyone, because every other guy did the same as you did outside of the classroom.
Actually, I thought by your use of the word in the title, that you were a girl. I read the whole thing through twice, saying to myself…“why can’t one girl offer to study with another girl, even if there aren’t many girls there?” Since oftentimes plain girls can be intimidated by hot girls, I was totally confused, until I figured out you were a boy. So it this context, I think your closing phrase was just…confusing.
wheresgeorge04, I sincerely apologize. I honestly can’t imagine why I quoted you along with the other two quotes in post 28. For your Calvin and Hobbes affinity, and for my mistake in dragging you in accidentally, you get 10^17.6 points in your favor.
